Drilling out airflow on Plume Veil?

Has anyone done this? I really want to like my plume veil, but the airflow just feels restricted.. I've tried it with and without drip tips, and I've even removed the delrin insulator, but the flow still too tight.. any pictures or experiences will be greatly appreciated..

Before u go ahead and potentially ruin it, check to see that all of the airholes are open, no dirt in them blocking that precious air.

All the airflow holes are wide open and free of depris. I ordered a chuff drip tip. I'm gonna see how that is before I drill it out.

Just use a dremel to make the existing holes a little bigger. I've built to .08 on stock holes and haven't had a problem. Are you leaving a space under the coil (assuming center post build) to get air under them and into the smaller holes?

Also try flipping the sleeve to free up the six wee holes

I'm aware of this, but they produce minimal effect in that capacity. I find them better served up higher in coil-ville.

Worth a shot. I tried this to play around and noticed a small increase, however it tended to leak out of the holes and the chamber will be larger resulting in some less dense vape (the vape is rather nit picky though).

I have this same one, but the tabs on the topcap are still only stock width. Did you use tin snips or something to widen them out to match the outer slots?
Also a question, does anyone know if the fastech tobh chuff clones fit the acerig plume?

You might ruin the clippers and its only like 2 mm on one side needs to be cut off

After some testing i would not ruin my Plum Veil by drilling the airholes. It makes decent clouds as is from the package and the flavor is absolutely fantastic. This is going to be the one atty i compare others to. I drilled my 30mm tobh atty cause it had almost no flavor whatsoever so might as well. But thats just me.

I've decided not to do anything to it for now. I got a chuff enuff and it made a pretty big improvement. Thanks for all the comments and advise.

The chuff tip does make a huge difference, and does away with the loose top air adjustments. I had to modify my chuff though. I dremeled four indents in the undercollar, two to keep away from the negative screws and two to stay away from the coils. All in all, its a very good set up.

I'm running a black chuff on mine and it doesn't come close to the screws or coils

Give AtomicVaporShop.com a peek, got one from there for 6.50. Ask for rory...

Clt 2 new version!!! I like it so much I bought 2 of them!! Plume v. Is my third choice. I have 9 rda's and those blow everything out of the water, even the sub ohm version of the mutant x.
