Although I deeply destian Trump, what John McCain is doing right now is fucking bullshit. He's over in Europe saying the Trump admin is in disarray, what the fuck is a matter with him? Sure, anyone who can read a printed word knows its a shit show but elected officials should not be whining foreign governments. Impeachment is looking like more of reality every day and IMO that's very dangerous considering how divided the country is.
I was reading about the revolution in Egypt the other night and I started seeing parallels between what happened there and what's happening here. The Egyptians went out en masse to protest against their military dictator, Hosni Mubarak, and much to the shock of the entire world they managed to unseat him. They then held elections which were deemed free and fair by observers and Mohammed Morsi was elected Prime Minister. Then he began issuing all kinds of crazy executive orders in an attempt to broaden his powers. The people of Egypt didn't like that and once again took to the streets to protest the PM they had elected by a wide margin in free and fair elections. What happened next was one of the stupidest collective decisions in history; the Egyptian people demanded the military take over the country until new elections could be held. Morsi was thrown in a jail cell and the government launched a brutal crackdown on his officials and supporters. Now Egypt is right back where they started; under the boot of a savage and brutal authoritarian regime.
The Egyptians should have waited for his term to be up and then voted him out of office. I believe if Trump is impeached and removed we will see violence in the streets, maybe even bad enough for the new government to declare martial law and suspend elections. Just like the Egyptians should have waited, so should we.

To some degree, you have to look at it in perspective. Only a few weeks before the election, much of the media was still claiming Trump would be lucky to get 200 electoral votes. In the context of what was predicted, it may not have been a "landslide" but it certainly was a seismic event.

Newspapers have priced themselves OUT of business. It's not a reflection of the "dying" media. That is a reflection of piss poor business direction.
Cable news is still going strong. Local TV news is still going.
What has changed, is where people get their news. They don't read the paper anymore. They look at their phones.
So I guess, one could say, you are good at spreading FAKE NEWS as well.....
