Started on a GS cigalike a few weeks ago, and quickly spiraled into more stuff. Not interested in rebuildables/coiling or any of the more advanced stuff. Mostly just into the easiest ways to get good results.

Quit smoking on the third day of vaping the cigalike. Haven't looked back to the cigarettes yet.

With a little guidance, I ordered my first step up from the cigalike and my stuff arrived over the weekend. Happily using an iStick and a Nautilus Mini since, and just navigating my way through basic vaping stuff.

While I don't want to go full-blown hobby collector, I can tell already that I need some more gear. I love the BVC Nautilus Mini, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to grab a full size Nautilus. Refilling the mini 2-3 times a day is getting to be a chore, and the regular Nautilus looks much easier to fill up and holds a ton more.

Really having a hard time finding good juice though. Most of it is just "okay". Honestly the GS cigalike flavors tasted much better compared to my limited e-juice experience so far, but the vapor production and longevity on those little prefilled cartos is a dealbreaker. I get satisfying vapor production on the Nautilus mini, it's just none of the flavors I've tried have been very good.

Anyway, just poking around the forum here. Hello, and I'm glad to be here :)

Finding a few juices that can be your 'All Day Vape' is the hardest part of this journey.. it took me about 6 mo's to find a few that I could always vape and not get sick of..

luckily VU can provide a TON of vendors for you to try if you list a few flavors you like.. bakery, tobacco, fruity etc..

And from me as well!

Tell us what kind of flavors you tend to enjoy and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

Hey, thanks for all of the welcomes!

I don't like anything fruit flavored, especially "candy fruit" flavors. I'm craving tobacco flavors, but the two I've tried didn't taste anything like tobacco and were more sweet than I prefer (some sweet is fine, just not when that's the primary note in the tobacco flavor range). Neither of them came even close to the GS tobacco flavors.

Coffee, Vanilla, Peanut, Mint/Cold Menthol are all flavors I love, particularly if they are strong (stronger: better!). Chocolate/Butterscotch type flavors are OK but they tend to overwhelm me; still, open to trying them. Bakery flavors I haven't tried yet, although they might work for me as long as they don't have fruit flavors mixed in.

DIY is an interesting option but I'm already a little overwhelmed with what I've learned in the last couple of weeks (all of the basics, terminology, battery specifics vv/vw ohm's law and safety, etc). Plus I imagine that requires another entire set of tools, and I've already strained the budget to the max buying all the stuff I have now (or that is on the way).

Even though the tobacco flavor I'm vaping on my current setup isn't all that great, it's vapeable and satisfying the nic needs. So that's a plus :)

BEJ Clove Tobacco and Premium Tobacco are pretty good. So is the Honeywood Tobacco if you let it steep for 3 weeks.

Apocalypse Juice has a pipe tobacco called Castle Black which is amazing but just a tad on the expensive side for me at $18 for a 30ml bottle,

Thanks! I'll have to skip trying the Clove (hate clove) but the rest sound great. I've been ordering sample sets from several different places that have them (big plus as far as I'm concerned, no sampler makes me less inclined to shell out for 15ml).

I was hesitant about trying the clove myself.

I remember years an years ago when my roommate and I were on a bar crawl near the OSU campus and we stopped into a place (basically a head shop called Waterbeds and Stuff) and we decided to purchase a pack of Indian Clove Cigarettes.

We went to the first bar on our rounds, opened the box and they looked like HUGE joints.

After getting our first pitcher of beer, we both lit on up.

The taste and the smell was horrendous.

Shortly thereafter the bartender came to our table and told us that if we wanted to keep smoking that "Crap" we would have to leave.

We opted to stay and diched them.

Anyhow, the Clove Tobacco is much, much different from that. Kinda like a spiced tobacco.
