I have a couple of the original Dripbox's, love the anemic little bastards. :D

But they all have the same buttons (including Ferrari), and I know how to use them...legal use per the law, perhaps not, but hey ya gotta live life right?

Sure if they work I use em.
With the non regulated ones you have to build your coils for best performance. With the regulated one you and just go wild and do vape doughnuts.

Well one I do not use. The Geyscano I got for $15. has a brass 510 pin in it and tastes like crap. will have to replace the 510 someday... or not....

I like regulated mods, just got an Hohm Slice and it works well. But like a Ferrari vs your Prius, chipped mods just wont hang with the mech's...

You gettin 300 watts out of a mech? You must have one of those quad stacked mods or something?
But I do like my Coppervapes.

but I also like SS TC for squonking.

Thanks. I've been happy with oven cure cerakote on some other items, but the air cure not so much. Don't know which Tmod uses.

Would you say the Custom Classics and Tmods are a toss up, or do you feel one is a superior overall product?
There isn't much in it. Both great mods.

Quad? Naw, triple 18650 is the most powerful I have. But you could pull a true 300 watts with a dual series pretty easy if you're willing to go above 30 amps pulse. Not that it would be enjoyable...

Thanks man. I find that I don't care for this Vector atty very much, so maybe just get the mod with panels or just polished or something. Speaking of polished, the pictures I've see of the CC looks pretty sweet.

Definitely vote for the CV as new squonker of 2016

Hadaly for atty.

The Goon is a close second for atty, but the authentics have to be modified with FDV pins, the Hadaly comes with a pin, so I don't count the Goon as a true squonk atty.

For me it's a bit complicated when it comes to the atty...It all depends on the nic concentration of the ejuice I vape..my ADV is mostly 12 mg, except for maybe an hour or so when I decide to blow some clouds. So mostly I'm tootle puffing on a 1 ohm build for the 12 mg nic juice, and the atty of choice would be a Cyclone, RM2, or the Nuppin with a single coil. For my 3mg juice, it's usually the Narda or a dual coil build (0.5-0.6 ohm) on the Nuppin'.

My most used Pinch, an oil/wax finished walnut one from the beta batch, has been in daily service since July of 2015 and I think I've done a full tear-down PM on it three times. The second green one has been my bedside and AM mod for a solid year now and has been torn down for PM once. That makes these the least maintenance intensive mech squonkers I own.

i think this is the key

daily rotation

i've yet to meet a mod that can sit a few days or more unused and perform 100%

hadn't really occurred to me until my CCII sat a while this last few days

Dan...Forgot to tell you and Tamer happy new year yesterday....being a day ahead of us over yonder....

Anyway, hope all the Squonkers have a great new year. I doubt we'll see anything fantastic hit the squonk market the year ahead, but who knows.

I amend to also suggest the Na RDA. It is a decent RDA even if it only uses single coil set ups. I will be getting more Na RDAs & a straight shorty steel drip tip for each. The Derlin(?) chuff cap is fine and I can use it fine, but preference for me is the shorty 510 drip tip. It makes it appear to be a little stainless steel nipple to me. *chuckles* :) ---> (Joking) It might be Lucy's tits. After all, she does so deeply care about our cheap squonking asses. *grin*(/Joking)

Ha! Gives me an idea too. Might need to buy the good shit from Stu, use stainless steel wire for the coils in the SS Na RDA, atop the Aluminum Cu Vape. Wow, aren't we quite the odd chemical bunch, Copper Salts vaping vegetable glycerin and nicotine. Hrm.

A flat squonk bottle so you can make a smaller squonker would be nice.

Auto squonker. Will squirt some juice in the atty when TC says it is getting dry?
The tech exists for both.

I'm gonna have to say my favorite from 2016 is the SXK Shift clone. Favorite mod was the Sonar dual parallel, until I got the Halcyon (thankfully right after I beat the Sonar box into oblivion lol)

* sitting here trying to picture a 'flat' squonk bottle, draws a square with his finger in the air, scratches his noggin all puzzled ...does the befuddled gorilla face, goes "hurnh" *

Errrrm, watt you means 'flat' squonk bottle dere Willis? Me no gets it, me denser den dem bricks over yon in our hovel's cinder-block walls.

And yes, we do literally live in a hovel. It is a 40 year old unfinished basement what lies in again a hillside, roofed over recent with tin roof on a pitch, front porch room added on recent too.

Nonetheless, it's just a hovel housing two households with it equaling a family of six living here. Bout all could figure to improve would be to doze it, start over but that's just way too far out of financial reach, both households living well under Fed standard of poverty.

*sighs* If I could do something outside of home, I would be doing it, we look for me work, but I been without so long many won't hire me, or I'm overqualified or there's some petty rationale that 'work blocks' me. It's enough at times I just want to hang myself in the barn.

Seems ultimately, I'm just the kind what only 'fits' in my love's arms after going and doing what they need to square right for them. But loving and hoping make poor means to pay that Bill guy. *sighs* Bah, I'll hush not meaning to be all self pity, just is what is.

Kinda like that one but thinner. How about flat sided crescent shaped the back side concave to hug the battery tube and the front rounded for an edge squonker? Should be able to make a regulated squonker for about the same size as a Coppervape.

And at least until they mess up that extending rigid tube design on the Kanger Drip boxes rules.
Forget trying to poke a little squiggly tube up on a nipple.

Also tried squonking more than once, just not for me I guess. I still have 2 mods left, a tmod customs and a lost vape Therion BF with a Hadaly on top. The Hadaly is a nice Rda.

I thought I was done buying mods. I'm now looking at getting a regulated squonk mod because I like the flavor from dripping but there are times I can't drip. I eliminated the Therion BF because 1) I'm sure I'll end up snapping the divider at some point; 2) it's overpriced where I'm at; 3) I'm not crazy about how it looks. I have the non-BF Therion and love that mod, but the BF version looks odd to me. I also eliminated the dripbox because I read somewhere here that the 510 doesn't connect too well with other drippers.

So I've narrowed down my choices to the wraith and the vt75 inbox (con: the panel can slip off when squonking, about $35 more expensive than the wraith over here). I read over at FT that the white wraith can turn yellowish after a week of use. Bummer for me since I was leaning toward that storm trooper look. In any case, which of the two might be the better option?

I have both - the VT75 squonker is far superior to the Wraith as far as the chip. It is a smoother vaper on the VT75.

The Wraith is a little easier to squonk, due to the positioning of the bottle. The stock bottle is also much softer on the Wraith, if that matters to you. Not that the VT75 bottle is difficult at all.

Mine's black, so can't say anything about the Storm Trooper look turning yellow, lol

Thanks for the super quick reply. Now that you mention the bottles, I'll probably head over to a B&M and check out the way they both feel -- though I do like the DNA chip a lot.

Apparently it is a VT chip. Unsure on difference to DNA, but suspect it is the budget version of their line.

Aren't they the same? I've seen references to the chip as being the dna75 or else evolv 75.

VT designates a model line made by HCigar. There's the HCigar VT75 and VT75 Nano which are of similar design with the Nano being the little brother and neither are squonk mods. Hcigars squonker is the VT Inbox. All of these use the DNA 75 Chip made by Evolv who also makes other chips, DNA 60, DNA 200, etc. .

I have 2 VT Inbox squonkers on order and waiting for shipment. One is from a US vendor and the other one is taking the slow boat from China. I plan to give squonking a true honest effort since I sold my Dripbox 160 and Pico squeeze without using them much. I am definitely a regulated mod kind of guy and If I am happy with the VT Inbox, I plan to get the Halcyon by Lost Vape. I need to build my mod selection back up after selling most of my stuff prior to moving.
