I think I've read that this can be done, I just can't seem to find a guide on how to do it. Anyone have any information regarding this conversion? I'd really like to give it a shot.

Thanks! Guess I was looking in the wrong place. Don't visit Reddit too much.

Most guys do the DNA20 in the MVP because the stock battery will power the 20,but does not have the amp rating to power the DNA30.So you would have to change the battery out, which would be a tight squeeze.

Yep. The stock battery barely has enough for 20 watts. Now tomorrow I will be removing the protection circuit on the battery pack to see if that helps. Right now I am looking for a battery to work.

Awesome thread, I have a busted MVP I've been looking to do something with since I just ordered a new MVP.

I sort of read someplace that an 18650 fits inside the case (in place of the stock 2600mah battery).Wiring it in should be simple...solder the wires to the battery i imagine...not sure how the charge funtion would work though for a li ion battery...Maybe a conversion for that as well possible.
