RDA direct dripping through top

Time for a new RDA, I've had a FreakShow and LittleBoy for couple years now. I'd really like a nice RDA easy to build on with great flavor, but one that is easy to direct drip right through the top dripper. Any suggestions? Read reviews on Recoil and Goon for flavor, etc. But nobody ever really mentions if it's easy to drip without removing cap.

This has quickly become one of my favorite RDA'S.

This one too but it's not yet. Maybe in another week or so it will be.

Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavour.

I just got the Recoil RDA the other day. I absolutely love it, and I can easily drip through the drip tip.

The goon has a great deck to drip straight in the recoil has a little more obstruction but the juice well is open.

If you don't have a goon that would be my first stop.

I own a Recoil and it's made for through the top dripping. Flavor on it is outstanding as well. It's quite an impressive piece, VERY well constructed

Pretty much anything with a Velocity or postless deck works beautiful with dripping through the cap. That is as long as they don't have a spit back BS thing in the cap. TM style, Goon and center post will work also but with some of those there is a high chance of the juice not being distributed evenly between the sides. That's why I like postless and Velocity style, oh also duel post also.

I've had that issue with the Goon. I find that squirting rather than dripping helps with even distribution. Takes a little getting used to, it's easy to overdo it at first but it works just fine once you get it down.

Looks like I'll have to decide between Goon and Recoil. Both also have great reviews. For Goon owners, there is a shop I saw that had multiple colors of the Goon that are expensive, but on 528 custom site I only see stainless, black and copper. Are the colors (red, blue, etc) clones then? If they are clones, are they any good?

Stainless brass copper and black. The only ones that come with colored top caps are either limited editions or clones.

528 sells lots of colored top cap options on their site. And everything mixes and matches

There's quite a few out there that let you drip through the cap. I only use RDA's that I can drip without moving the cap except for my petri. Here's the ones I use:

Diablo Hellboy V2
The Troll V2 ( very inexpensive, you can pick one up for $35 and it's a fantastic RDA )
VC Buddha 25mm V3
VC Glacier 24mm V3
VC Glacier 23mm V2
The Kennedy

Here's a pic of The Troll and the 25mm Buddha with The Troll being on the left:

The three RDA's I use pretty much all the time are the Perti V2, Goon 24 and TMS. All three can be dripped on through the top cap and that's part of my criteria when looking for an RDA. That is what I like about Grimm Green's reviews, he always mentions if juice can be dripped, or blaaahed as he calls it, through the top cap.

I've heard through people who have dripped through the top cap of the goon that the liquid doesn't disperse evenly to the wicks, just something to consider before you make your purchase.

What would you guys recommend for a one-handed vaper? I'd like to get a dripper for juice mixing purposes but only have one working hand due to a stroke. I vape DL at low watts - no more than 30 at most. I can do a helluva lot with the one working hand I do have so I welcome any and all suggestions.

Thank you,

Michael

I'd probably go with a tank. The biggest problem you're going to have with drippers is installing the coils, whereas replacing a prebuilt coil in a tank would be far easier for you to do with a single hand. Unless you can get somebody who can build and install the coils in the RDA for you ( a friend who vapes or a vapeshop maybe ) I'd stick with a tank. I'm sure much more knowledgeable people will pop in with different opinions though.

I actually want a few of these because it would be easier for anyone to drip. A guy at my local B&M just picks it up off the counter and pumps it in his RDA and doesn't even mount it in his car. I would probably hold my mod in my lap and just pump in the ejuice with one hand.

Thanks for the responses. I use a tank right now. I've got an iStick basic with the GS Air2 tank with the .75 ohm coils. I can fill the tank ok - that's not the problem. What I'd really like to have is an RDA so when I mix up juice, I can put in a few drops to test for flavor without having to change out coils.

I'm set to order an Eleaf iStick TC 100 with a Uwell Crown tank but I also want the dripper as well. I just need to know what's the easiest deck to change the cotton in the coils if I'm making any sense.

Thanks again.

Michael
