I recently purchased some replacement coils for my Kanger Subvod. I've usually use the SS316 .5's but accidentally ordered the .5 Claptons this time. I've never used them before. Will I see any noticeable difference?

never used them
switched to rtas right when those claptons came out.
You should notice a difference
1. probably needs more power to shine since there is more mass to the coil
2. SHOULD increase flavor
3.may run hotter then you are used to

Thats all i got

Without knowing how either coil is made.. hard to be accurate. But in general claptons require more wattage. Being bigger can and will produce more vapor......

In short the difference should be Huge....

I had the subvod and used to switch back and forth between the claptons and the stainless steel coils. They were different but I enjoyed both. I thought the claptons were a smoother cooler vape.

Those "claptons" in those small low powered heads are not worth the trouble, they are in most cases not even proper claptons and have too limited airflow and power to work properly.
They were just made to ride the clapton hype.

Give em a try you might like em..many do..
I don't like claptons myself... they deliver too much flavor for me..... vapor tastes too much like Ejuice. I prefer good tasting vapor to a mouthful of superheated ejuice. I also am not a tan of the crappy battery life they bring from the extra wattage you have to use to run em.
