The story of my life. ..an hour late.....R.I.P. Hank, you will be missed.
It is said that those who pass into the next life without pain and suffering were truly loved by God. I take solice in hearing Hank passed in his sleep, God really loved him, as we all did.

I didn't know him as 'Hank' as many of you do. I am touched to see Hank had many friends here.

I didn't know him as Hank, but I did know him as Spankman, the consummate squonker. He was a regular on the squonking forums. Willing to share his love of squonking , share information and help others with everything related to bf.

As a tribute to Hank's love of squonking, I suggest the forum, 'Squonkers are Bonkers' be renamed (at least temporarily) 'Squonkers are Spankmans.'

Squonk on Hank.
Squonk on Spankman.

Wow I can't believe it. He was a good friend on here and in real life. We met in real life doing a trade. I'll miss his random text messages and pics. Very sad day :(

So those that were asking... I feel bad posting this; but, so many had questions.
It appears as though our friend passed away in his sleep as a result of a heart attack.

Truly a sad day for us all.

Wow. I haven't been here long, but I could tell he was a guy I wanted to know better. As a new vaper, he helped me out a lot, and I always waited to see what song he would post next.
Praying for his friends and family. Rest in peace bro.

Well, welcome new vaper. I think you'll find Hank had a great loving family here in the ethers of this forum. Most of us are very open to helping new vapers. Kindly allow us a brief respite for now, though. One of our best has taken the journey before us. We're all caught unaware. He was always so endearing, even with those of us that could be stubborn at times. I'll always recall, "Spanky knows his stuff."

We'll be sure to try and guide you in vaping like he would have. Granted there'll not be another him, the mold was thrown out ... I think. ;) Again, welcome to the vaping family. :)

I didn't know him and I'm sad that I missed out getting to know him. I'm very sorry for everyone's loss.

You'll come to know him from the great friends gathered here. He was a character and could get us cracking up a lot in the forum. That was a gentle reminder we need to not take life so seriously. He could also be frightfully vigilant if he needed to stand in your corner. He knew more of us and took care of us for our own good than we at times knew to do. "Spanky knows his stuff." And he didn't come across as someone better than anyone, he was always your equal, nothing more or less.

There's an axiom which says men are measured by their friends. Well, we're his friends and we're all kind of in shock today. Imagine he is a bit too, though he probably went on to work hawking his Goons wherever he roams. :) I will miss him a good bit. Me and him once spoke of something and he set me right. Excuse me, need to get off here a bit.

I was thinking the same thing. I hope when my time comes, at least one person thinks as favorably of me as so many do of him. He'll never be totally gone as long as he is remembered.

We just msg'ed each other about 3d printed mechanical squonk boxes. He invited me to his groups on FB. I liked his style of gear too. F_ck. I'm saddened and shocked at the same time. He reminded me of @HvyMtl, good taste in music, we were all good friends and shared some laughs..

:(

You nailed it, brother. He was a really, really good friend.

rest in peace hank. my interactions with you were few and far between, but always a pleasure. watching you interact with your friends and the other users here gave this whole place a slightly warmer and more welcoming feeling to it. i hope you can take that warmth with you wherever you end up going next. from reading through these comments, you helped people on a lot of levels, and a whole lot of people will miss you.

my heart goes out to all of you.

Which actually *is* somewhat of a comfort -- I felt really bad that I hadn't seen or talked to my mom for 4 months before she died, but then I realized, the details really don't matter -- she's my mother, she raised me, she'll be in my heart as long as I live. And in my son's, as long as he lives.

Spankman brought so many smiles to so many people here... that's a marvelous legacy.

We just passed my father-in-law's passing anniversary. It was rough. But I remember all the stories he liked to tell, his deep laughter, and everything he taught our kids. As long as the memory of them remains in our hearts, they're still with us.

First Sunday I can remember that I didn't spend an hour or 2 or 4 on the phone with you, listening to you complain about something and then you try and sell me an RDA you thought would be good. I'll miss you buddy, I hope you're looking down at us all, blowing clouds on us.

I didn't spent near the time with him I wished I had, but loved what I did. He gave great advice when asked, livened up the atmosphere anywhere I found him, and was full of good cheer.

I regret that I didn't get to know him better than I did. It just makes me realize how short and fragile life truly is.

Hank was a good dude. I didn't get to know him like a lot of people here, but we had a lot to talk about over in the Single/Double Edged Shaving thread. In fact, I bought my last double edged safety razor because of him. I'll think of him every time I use it.

Dang. Hank was a great guy from the limited interaction we had. When I got my first squonk, I put up a "WTB" thread for BF atty's" and hank PM'd me. He asked for my address and sent me 3 velocity clones and a new tugboat. All built, wicked and ready to go. Over the weekend I was looking at a bunch of unopened juice I was not going to vape and decided I'd send it to him as a thank you for the RDA's.

As I logged on to PM him for his address, I clicked the "new post thread" and saw this. I was very saddened to so read the news. I love the Tugboat and have used it almost everyday since he sent it to me. Hell I think it's still got his build in it. I'll continue to use it in his honor.

Is there a memorial fund or anything like that? Sorry if it's already in this thread. Running around getting myself and the kid ready for the day and have t had time to read it.
