storing nicotine before TPD

Before TPD makes nicotine base unavailable in the current strengths and quantities, I want to stock up and freeze some VG based nicotine. I've been doing a lot of reading and it seems freezing it is best, in amber glass bottles. Also, a particular kind of lid is recommended, a phenolic polycone lid. Unfortunately I can't find these lids in the UK, or bottles that have them, but I have found these:

Amber bottles with polypropylene polycone lids. WIll it make a difference that it is PP and not phenolic? I read on one site that PP becomes brittle when frozen, but then when researching that statement wikipedia says it is very good at freezing temperatures...

Any advice on whether these bottles/lids will be good for long term frozen storage (2-3 years)?

Also, I was planning on using these smaller bottles to store the liquid I make. I chose the lid purely because I like how it looks and it will be easy to drain completely with a pipette, to be honest, because it doesn't have to be freezer safe or worry about long term leeching/seeping. But, I do want to double check if the lids are okay because they have something called a PVDC lining, and I'm wondering if it is suitable for storing eliquid and whether or not it will degrade or affect the liquid over time as it will be reused a lot, obviously.

These are the caps that I have used the most. The older bottles I have in the freezer, have been there, at least, 3 years now. No issues when I've opened the most recent. Stored in an ordinary fridge freezer.

Phenolic applies to plastics - as in the hard plastic caps themselves. Polypropylene refers to the clear plastic cone insert that forms the seal. I haven't heard any reports of problems with the caps failing over time from exposure to freezing. So I think you're good here.

As far as the second bottle goes I cannot find any reference to PVDC alone being used as a cap liner. (But there are many brand names for this kind of seal.) I suspect this is some kind of multi-layer insert, similar to what you find in the cap of a bottle of OTC ibuprofen or shampoo & mouthwash caps. Personally I wouldn't recommend a cap with that type of liner as it usually doesn't perform great for long term reuse and with exposure to liquids. (They always seem to fall out of shampoo bottles. lol) I just don't think it's a practical cap/liner combination. Maybe you can ask the supplier for more info.

I am in the UK as well, and have stocked up on a few litres of Darkstars 72MG nicotine.

To be honest, I haven't heard of people mentioning different types of lids, most people I know on the UK forum I use buy from darkstar too, and just freeze in their bottles.
I have four of the 250ML amber glass bottles in the freezer, and one litre that is in a clear, plastic bottle. I bought the litre as it was about £15 cheaper than the glass bottles.

I have enough to last me at least 6 years, and have bought PG based nicotine as this is what I normally use, and have read the PG has a longer life than VG which is needed in our case.

Sorry I can't be of any help with the lids though, but i am sure the lids your nicotine has will be fine as I know people that already have been using frozen nicotine for a few years.

How bad can it be not freezing NIC will it just get less potent or will it be unvapable, people make up large batches of juice and have them for years, they reckon there fine afterwards

Just keeping it in a cool place with no light will help greatly.
Oxygen, heat, and light seem to be the biggest enemies IMO.

Yeah that's my thinking as well, leave them unopened until i need them, when i open one up i use 3 250ml bottles fill them up to the top then i do the same with a 200 ml bottle then a 50ml needle top bottle. And i just top that up as necessary
