E-Holly 7-35 from FT

So I got my daily deals and steals email and saw that Joe found this 35 watt vamo style device at FT. Being a vamo lover I pounced and bought one. However reading the FT forums it seems that people are already bashing these. Has anyone actually used/seen one of these? I don't want to waste money on a piece of junk.

If it uses a Yihi SX chip, I would think it would be OK! I went ahead and ordered one from FT
I'll report on it when I get it. probably bout 3 weeks

Mine should be coming in next week. Actually put my order on hold for a few more reviews to come in. Finally saw some positive reviews on the FT site so I pulled the trigger. Will let everyone know how it holds up.

Seems quite different than most Vamos though, 3V - 6V/15W. This thing is more akin to a DNA30.

--4.0V-8.5V Variable Voltage
--7W-30W Variable Wattage

From recent comments in the "Discussions" portion of the item's page (http://www.fasttech.com/forums/1847002/t/1385409/rainbow-heaven/2) it might actually have a Yihi SX300T chip. I have one of them on my FT wishlist, will probably wait a few weeks for others' feedback.

There is no such thing as a Yihi SX 330T chip though .. and the SX 330 35W chip that Yihi does make looks nothing like what is in the E-Holly. This sounds like Amod's "sxa300" chip which is also not a Yihi chip as marketed.

YiHI has a SX300.

http://www.yihiecigar.com/products_info/Yihiecigar-SX300-254278.html

It is the gravity sensor type. I just assumed the 'T' meant button adjustment.

I'm sure YiHi would confirm/deny if asked.

Yes I know that Yihi could confirm or deny, I do have a relationship with Cari at Yihi .. Yihi is very clear about the fact that if a chip came from them that it will be listed in their catalog and there is no SX 300T in the Yihi catalog. Yihi lists all versions of each chip style, and the chip in the EHolly does not exist on Yihi's list. Also the display screen of the E-holly is clearly not a Yihi style chip.
