How long do you see yourself vaping?

I think it proves the other ingredients in cigs are what is really addicting, not the nicotine so much.
I'm sorry and there is really no nice way of saying this but you are trying to prove that nicotine isn't an addictive substance based entirely off of someone whom in this thread talks about having an alcohol addiction and a former tobacco addiction. I think the more likely explanation is an addictive personality. I'm happy for her that's she is sober/ tobacco free but I think saying nicotine isn't addictive is not right. Vaping is already catching on with kids. Saying that it's not addictive for everyone to see could be harmful.

But you're rather VERY young, so the fact that you don't know about it, proves nothing. I've quit alcohol, and I've quit white powder drugs, and none of it was easy... but compared to smoking, those were very easy.

I've stolen money to buy cigarettes -- and probably lots have done that. I've grabbed butts from public ashtrays -- you probably wouldn't know of that, because there really aren't a lot of "public ashtrays" anymore, smoking is so hated and demonized. I've turned down jobs because I couldn't smoke -- lots of smokers have done that. And I know that pretty much ALL smokers would willingly go without food, just to be able to buy cigarettes.

Saying "I've never heard of that" is about the weakest argument for anything, *I* have ever heard of.

You have just described someone with an addictive personality disorder to a T. The cigarettes aren't your problem.

Addiction.. dependency.. habit... pick whatever term you like.... pick whatever aspect you want..

For each it's a bit different.. I do need nic.. without it I smoke.

And while my mg/ml ratio has dropped from 20-25 two years ago to 5-10 now...... I still use the same 60 mg go nic per day I used on day one. The amount of nic in my juice is more determined by the build I'm using. If the build uses more juice I use a lower nic mg. If I'm running a sipper build I use higher mg/ml. At end of day I will have vaped around 60 mg of nic.

2 plus years into vaping. Smoke free.... I still reach for a cigarette pack before grabbing a mod. The muscle memory part of smoking being the hardest part to get over.....

Then there's my tobacco preference. . See I still like the smell of fresh tobacco and burning tobacco.... even though I have always hated the odor of stale cigarette smoke. Love Vegas but hate casinos for that reason. I have yet to find a non tobacco forward juice I like. I have yet to be able to vape zero nic without wanting a smoke.....

But then.. 2 years smoke free.. I still consider myself a smoker. I just don't use combustion anymore. To me I didn't quit smoking as much as I switched to a safer method.
