Hi all,
Here I have a very lightly used squonker that was built entirely by hand in my shop. No fancy milling, just minimal power tools and lots of love.
Body is Claro Walnut with a beautiful grain, door is dyed and stabilized maple burl, both coated in poly clear.
Contacts are beryllium copper, 510 is varitube auto-adjusting, ultem button.
Handmade mahogany battery cradle, carbon fiber back & bottom plate.
Does fit an Italian supersoft, it's a little snug at the top but doesn't interfere with functionality. The perfect bottle that I've found was the square ones, but ymmv.
It's not a perfectionists device, it is handmade and you will undoubtedly find flaws if you look for them. I started the project with very few hopes for the piece of wood I used, but in the end it came together fairly nicely.
I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have, otherwise I could just ramble on.
$150 shipped via Priority mail in the US
Thanks for looking,
