If you click on the Mod Tab of Escribe you should have 3 cells selected, Lithium Polymer, the Watt Hours set to 13.32, and the Cell Soft Cutoff set to 3.09v, A couple of things I'll add is battery life might get better after a few cycles and has already been said, 18650's will give you longer runtime.
The DNA250 is a very efficient chip. The 250 watts doesn't have anything to do with runtime, that's the watt hours of the batteries. Lipos are great at being to deliver a lot of power and being light, but if you are looking for long runtimes, three 18650's are the way to go. Personally my favorite DNA mods use two 18650's and are capped at 167 watts because the DNA250 chip is capped at 167 watts using two cells in series, 250 watts with 3 cells in series.
In conclusion if you are looking for a light and powerful mod that will produce 250 watts, the 3s Lipo is the way to go. If you are looking for a mod with longer runtime, three 18650's are the way to go. For a good compromise of power and runtime a dual 18650 DNA250 (167 watts) is the way to go. My Dual 18650 DNA250 mods have 22.2 Watt Hours using either Samsung 30Q's or LG HG2's (they are true 3000mah cells). In comparison, your mod has 13.32 WH. If you were using a three cell DNA250 with three HG2's or 30Q's you would have a whopping 33.3WH's.
Anyway this is what your settings in the mod tab should look like.
PS If you don't see the mod tab click on:
Options > User Interface > Manufacturer at the top of Escribe.
