Getting my first mech mod (Clone)

Hello there,
first of all I'm aware about Ohms Law, Battery safety and things that could happen when using mech mods.

I was searching for a clone since I don't even know if I really enjoy mods, sadly nobody that I know has one. This is why I don't want to go all out without any experience in terms of mech mods.

I was thinking about this combination:
Mod: https://www.fasttech.com/product/1448300-nemesis-style-mechanical-mod
RDTA: https://www.fasttech.com/p/7462502

Not sure if these are a good choice, that's basicly why I'm asking if there is anything else that you would recommend (prefering clones due to price for now).
I think that an RDTA would fit more to me since I'm not sure if I'd want to drip all the time but if there is anything that I'm not thinking about, please point it out!

I've been using tube mods pretty exclusively for a good while now and using RDA's until I was looking around fasttechs site not long ago and ran across a clone of the atom vapes Revolver 2 and figured I'd try it out since it was only $15. It's an integrated RDTA system built on the concept of a copper tube Mech mod. Full sized velocity style deck can fit anything you'd like to build and the tank would fit your need for something that you don't have to continually drip as often as your regular style RDA's. So, it seems like I good fit since you're asking for a Mech, an RDTA, and a good priced yet good quality clone. Only catch is that since it is an integrated system, you can't use the mod with any other RDA's and you can't use the RDTA on any other mods...but should do well for getting your feet wet and seeing another aspect of vaping!

Oh damn this looks really interesting, especially as a beginner mod I guess. If I really enjoy tube mods then I'd go to something more versatile but this seems actually like a really good option! Guess this will be my choice, wondering why I've never heard about anything like that tho...

Uhm dumb question, did you connect your liquid to your mod or something? That looks interesting!

For mech mods you need to build specifically for the vape you desire, they wont change or turn up so the output is completely dependent on your build. The upside to mech is there isnt really a limiter, it will always follow Ohms Law and with certain setups you can pull well over 150w out of a tube (I dont suggest that!)

I like 4 Wrap/3mm ID 5 Core Aliens or Fused Claptons comprised of N80 or SS for Tubes, but I would suggest trying out a Normal 2x26g/40g Fused Clapton with similar specs on it and see whether you want it hotter or cooler. Ill be here to help advise you in either case.....hope you enjoy it!

Well I'm building coils myself right now already, it was just the problem that I don't know if this would be a decent combination in terms of mod & rdta, don't wanna try getting into mech mods and then realizing that the quality of the items are not really good :).

The tank full of liquid is part of the system...it's pretty much an inline system with your cap/drip tip on top, followed by your build deck with 4 holes in the bottom of to push the wicking down into the tank section which is the clear section which is sitting on the base of the RDTA which is screwed onto the tube mod. You fill the tank by removing the top cap (exposing the build deck) and injecting the liquid down the center post with the black o-ring on top where it travels down through the rda and puts the liquid in the tank. I'll drop a link to a YouTube video I watched before buying it that explains what everything is, how it works, and shows the process on building on it and using it from unboxing through vaping on it...the guy is weird as hell, but still does a good job explaining and teaching things about the setup:

Oh! Lol ok, no...that's just a chair in the background...don't mind the lawn furniture, but I can definitely see how it looks like that

Also, he's using the authentic and there are two small differences I've noticed (so far) with the clone. One being on the authentic version the airflow control has two sizes to choose from along with being able to close off and open up the opening where the clone only has the "bigger" air flow option with the ability to open/close it off...the other is just aesthetic and is the fact that his has a red tank glass which I thought would look really cool, but mine came with 3 colors..clear, yellow, and smokey (the one in my pics)...really wanted that red glass, lol, but oh well.

About the shipping...that's a bit of a negative...13 days after I placed the order I got it in the mail, so, you're gonna have to wait a while...the price we pay for inexpensive clones, I suppose.

Oh, and that is shipping to USA, by the way (just noticed you're in Germany)

Oh well, as long as I don't have restricted hits it's fine :p
Hm you could maybe check if there is any way to buy replacement glass - maybe they got some in red? Even tho the black one looks good aswell!

If you're in Germany I would suggest using the NL Registered shipping option. It should make it from Netherlands to Germany in just a few days.

Once you start using a mech, there is no going back. LoL

GoodLuck and enjoy!

The one on the left is a sub ohm innovation "blem" 24mm around $50
Center is a 26mm Purge
Right is a 30mm Vaper Cloudz Arthas. $45 is you can find one or $65 directly from VC. They usually have a few left in their store stock.

You don't have to spend a ton of money for a really good authentic mech.
