Oh Friar of the Fog. How would you compare the Sigelei vs the God Box considering I don't imagine myself ever going beyond 80 watts in them.

The Sigelei is great if you know for a fact that you will never be vaping over 100w. The God Box can do everything the Siggy can do, but also will allow you to explore even further if that may strike your fancy in the future. There was a time when I never IMAGINED that I would ever vape above 20w. Basically, a stick battery beginner can use the God Box....but so can a veteran combat vaper.

I have vaped on the authentic Variant on a number of occasions and was not bowled over. Very complicated screen.....not particularly attractive....instils great paranoia whenever someone comes within 5 metres of it.

BEWARE!!! kanthal bits can and will get pulled in the vent holes on the bottom. This has happened to me a few times I'm afraid it will short out on day.

A powerful magnet and metal detector may help.

Just got mine back from warranty. Woot for being able to run a 6 wrap dual 22 gauge. Was so close to running with 6 wrap 20 but just to low.

Got mine last Monday and absolutely love it. Been using it for my dripper dual coil .5 ohm and 25 watts. Get days of battery life out of it

Well posting my first pics. This is my new favorite build. I've been vaping it at 100 watts to. Never thought I would use it all. Give me a few months and I'll be wanting more.

Quad 8/7 wraps with 24 gauge around a 3mm screwdriver on a Poseidon. Sharp flavors are a little muted, but baked goods are delicious. My banana bread and strawberry shortcake are my 2 favorites. Holds 30 plus drops. I haven't been counting but I get 25+ hits before a dry hit.

Anyone find a way to add a spring loaded pin?
I've asked sigelei if the spring loaded pin will work on the older boxes, but haven't heard back from them yet

I don't remember where it was, but a VU member took his apart pretty thoroughly and found the 510 connector is tough to remove. Apparently it can be done if you really know your stuff but it takes work. I don't think you would be able to change to a spring loaded pin without removing the 510 connection.

Man, I have the itch for a box mod now. I can't decide between the Sigelei 100 Watt, or the project sub ohm Thinman which is an IPV3. I don't need the 50 extra watts, so it more a matter of quality. I don't like the lack of magnets on the IPV3, but aside from that, it seems really nice. On the other hand, I can get the Sig, and 2 pairs of LG's for around $110, whereas the Thinman is $126 or so device alone. I could add a magma to the Sig and batts, and be at $126.

Don't know what to do. I also tend to vape kayfuns at 1.2 ohms, and I gather that resistance won't allow me to hit 100 Watts, not that I would want to. I'm unable to find out if the IPV3 has the same restrictions. I know you need to be .5 or lower to hit 100 on the Sig. I don't know what I'd actually be able to use at 1.2. I'm leaning towards the Sig, but I'm not gonna let it be because of cost. I want to get a device that I will like, and will last. I plan on holding on to this mod, and don't foresee the desire to get multiple like with mechs.

This is a Sig thread. Everyone seems pleased, any unbiased suggestions? Also, I have plenty of batts, but will need two pair to marry for the box. I usually go through GenuineCells, but can get 4 LG's with the Sig and a Magma from the ebay vendor linked by @VapinChevy Anyone with experience with this vendor, and batteries? I'm hesitant to stray from who i know I can trust on batts, though I have 8 LG's and feel confident in identifying them. I still would like to know if anyone has purchased batts from this vendor. I don't wanna have to wait for batteries while staring at a beautiful mod, but safety first. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks all! This damn site has made me get SOOO much vape gear, lol. This one is a birthday/holiday present, though, so it ain't my money. Lol.

FYI, would need 11 volts to get to 100W with 1.2. Would take a 3 battery device like the god box. Not that I would ever want 100 watts on 1.2 but the more you know.

As for the IVP3, personally I don't like the touch button but that's just me. I also love the magnets on the sigelei and customer service is nice. The only reason I could see going for the IVP3 besides the extra watts is either the push button or style points.

Thanks for doing the math for me... Was being lazy ;). I have no desire to go there anyway, just trying to see what I could push with my typical builds. 100 Watts is only what is usable if you build low enough, but I'm gonna get a better RDA finally and start building a bit lower. Might as well try, and I have a ton of good dripping juice ATM.

I really am thinking the Sig. Now my only decision would be to wait for the Plus which has all magnets and a spring loaded 510. However, I then would wanna wait a bit to see if everything was reliable. Early adoption can be dangerous, and there will always be something new on the horizon. Then, do I wait for that? Lol. Also, assuming the V2 regular pin adjusts fairly easily, a spring loaded pin could be bad. Just a point of potential failure.

If I end up trusting this vendor on the batts, I can get a Sig, 4 LG's, a Tobeco Magma, and a new 510 ohm reader for $135.42. Seems like a good deal. Gonna do more thinking and reading, but the Sig is probably gonna be my choice.

I went to a local store to check out the ipv3 and the sig 100, held them in my hands, and just preferred the overall look and feel of the sigelei.

You might want to wait on the plus version that sigelei is about to release if you do lean towards the sigelei. But I don't think you can go wrong with either or.

Just a Heads UP!!!! The MXJO Batteries that many vendors sell are re-wraps! The MXJO 35A 18650's are 35A LG's & The MXJO 30A 18650's are 30A Sony VTC's!!! At least mine and many other's are

.

The pin on the Sig works just fine. Eciggity sells a version with dual magnets and no screw holes on the battery door, which means two magnets on both ends of the door. (4 magnets total)

I was planning on LG's, I'm wary to trust this vendor for batteries, though. I'd just like to one stop shop, so to speak. Thanks for the warning, though. I think I can discern between a real or fake LG, just not sure it's worth the risk.

@drunknfoo thanks for the advice. I'm leaning towards the Sig for sure. I worry about the spring loaded 510 in the plus. I would like it, but would want to wait until people had them out in the wild a bit before I got one, it's an easy failure point.

@Robert B I knew I saw that somewhere. It's more expensive, though, I'd rather have some exposed holes.

Got mine last Friday ( Sig ).. it's all what folks are saying, excellent device.
I sure seem to be chugging the juice though, like 30+mL a day ( and that's holding back ).. and I haven't vaped higher than 45W yet..

Seems like this one is a winner. Good to hear. I'm now just torn on waiting for the plus, but being a guinea pig worries me. That floating 510 is mighty enticing, though. I think I need to at least wait for Black Friday, there might be deals to be had.

Pulled the trigger on a order for mine. Flavor chaser here, but like tanks, so using the Fogger 4.1(4.4). So only looking for 30w out of this thing, hope it behaves with my Fogger. Will be a nice upgrade from my 2 Vamo 5s....

You're gunna like it
I'm using the Lemo, worked so good, I bought 2 more of 'em.
I'm finding that I'm getting the flavor I like at around 21W..

I'm a tank and flavor chaser as well, of the kayfun variety, though ;) . Haven't ordered it yet, but it's gonna happen soon.

But don't kayfuns have a single airhole? Foggers got 2, and 4 juice channels that should feed 30 watt builds nicely. I need that juice!

The Plus version is coming out in a couple of weeks. Looks like Sigelei addressed a couple of key issues (magnets on the door, spring loaded 510).

There are 100w boxes out now, with dual magnets and no screw holes. A properly adjusted center pin works great. The 150 is coming out in Dec. that won't have those metrosexual wavy lines..lol

I pulled trigger on Sigelei 100 watt Plus & Sigelei 150 watt box mods :D ... Sigelei Box Mods 100% RECOMMENDED
I assume you pre ordered... Mind me asking where from. I'm thinking I'm gonna wait and get the plus, I hate adjusting 510 pins. Thanks!
