i have a smok alien 220w mod that started having issues last night. i was out fishing and left the mod in my truck (it was night time so it was not hot in there) i went to my truck to go take a few drags and the mod was dead. it was at 75% wen i walked away from it. it was extremely hot to the touch from just sitting in my truck. turned it on and it said batteries were completely dead. so i changed batteries that were 100% charged and its still saying my batteries are dead and even the new batteries in the mod just sitting around get a lil warm. ive tried factory restoring it, 3 sets of batteries, different tanks, cant try the firmware because im on a mac but i dont think firmware would be the issue here. ive only had this mod since the middle of may and i love it but now its not wanting to work for me.

Sounds like a short on the board. It should never get warm just sitting there doing nothing.

Well that really blows. It was working perfectly fine before i put it away and then all of a sudden dead. Well i guess that was a waste of 80 bucks

Before putting a hold on the payment which I would think they already got why not try contacting SMOK first?

passed their warrenty period and i payed with paypal so i have more protection. i emailed the company i ordered the mod from to see if they can help me out but since its the weekend ive heard nothing back yet. i really just want my dang alien back. im back to using my old clunky snowwolf and it sucks
