I'm 46, disabled, am married to my best friend of almost 20 years, we have a 17 yr old son, a heavenly son, and a bossy chihuahua-mix. I'm glad to be smoke free and I enjoy advocating vaping, surfing the internet, playing on FB, and watching YT videos.

I guess you could say I'm still a Baby Vaper- I've been smoke free, and pro-vaping since my own doctor advised me to start vaping to get rid of the stinkies. I listened and I have been proudly vaping since 12/2/16. I've come a long way from analogs and "vaping" VUSE (OMG the nic content on those boogers-48mg!) I don't really call that vaping. I started out my real love for vaping with a Joyetech D16 EGO AiO pen, then I tried a eLeaf iCare Mini (2 of same model from 2 different sellers, leaked everywhere,) then I moved to a "box mod" (lmao- an eLeaf 20W iStick w/an Innokin T22 tank and I'm DL vaper!) Then, I inherited my son's Kanger Kbox Mini 50W. I bought the RBA for it, but it's really finicky. Then, I thought I was advanced enough to try the SMOK Skyhook RDTA (what a joke- it died on me w/in 6 days!) Then, I bought a SMOK TFV4 kit to go on my Kanger and I couldn't use it because I couldn't access the tank to change atties (the tank was sealed tighter than Ft. Knox!) So, I went back to the Kanger. Then, I tried out the Kanger-Arymi Pro One 75W Gil Kit and I loved that set-up except that it leaked everywhere- standing up, on its side, with new seals, it leaked everywhere! Then, I tried the nightmare of the Vaporesso Gemini RTA- again, leaking everywhere and it demanded more power than my Kbox mod could give. Back to the Kanger until I bought the SMOK Stick V8 w/an RBA that I currently use. I don't really care for it not having any sort of wattage control and unless I stick the atty on an ohm reader, I don't know what my builds are coming out like. I like it for its portability and stealth vaping but it's just to get me by until I can get my ideal.

I "think" my next purchase will be the SMOK Priv V8 w/the BB tank and using the RBA. I love building, it feeds my need to be creative and build. I have to be careful of how powerful the mods I get are- I have Fibromyalgia and carrying anything more than (1) 18650 battery makes me feel like I'm lugging around a 5# bag of sugar. I also want to get a good RDA for days where I want to constantly switch flavors.

I'm still trying to figure out my flavor profiles though. I like anything that tastes like Cinnamon toast, banana pudding w/Nilla wafers, Blueberry Cream Pie, Apple Pie, Caramel & Peppermint Mocha-type coffees, and I recently found out what everyone was raving about with the Fruit Loops. I'd love to try out Pour Boyz Sweet Tea but I can't really afford it.

I'm not really into menthols, sour fruit, candies, kool-aids, fruity teas, dark coffee flavors, or tobacco type flavors. I thought about trying squonking on the advice of Tony B (Vapor Trail Channel,) but I haven't figured out which is the best one for my needs yet. I need to find ONE mod, make the purchase and stick to it without looking back. It needs to be one that is durable, reliable, yet I also need it to be affordable on my limited budget. I really don't want to mess w/mech mods, I'm ignorant on their safety requirements. I don't need anything with a lot of weight behind it either. I prefer to have a mod by a company that has figured all of that out for me. Actually, I'd love to try out a good ceramic tank. I thought the COV Phoenix and the MEGA Volt might be it, but something's going on with COV- it's hard to find a lot of their products. Until I have some reassurance that they'll stand behind their products, that I'll be able to get replacement parts, then I'm not going to take that step. And that's me and my life as a vaper!

Glad to meet you all!

Welcome and props on putting down the cigs. It can take some vigilance to find the right setup but it's worth the effort for sure.

Hello Mel, I'm new here myself. I have a Gpriv. Performs well, but I don't find it comfortable to hold. I find c frame mods or single battery mods more comfortable. Have arthritis and knuckle knots. Smoant Charon comfortable, it is a little heavy but doesn't bother me. The Lost Vape Therion my favorite, but pricey. Predator 228 or p80 worth a look.

Welcome, and if u are looking for a smaller mod with decent power I would suggest the Istick pico. It's a great little mod, very inexpensive and can fit atomizers up to 22mm. I have a few bigger box mods but I still use the pico for certain occasions like going to the store and what not because of the portability. The pico with the original ammit is a really good combo because with the single coil it's good on battery life but can still provide you with a satisfying vape.
