New Wotofo Serpent SMM RTA is awesome

So far I'm digging the shit out of this thing. This is my first RTA and I'm wondering what the hell took me so long. Flavor is as good as my RDA's and I don't have to drip every few minutes. Single coil, lower power, longer battery life, great flavor, and enough clouds to make me happy. What could be better?

Heard a lot of good things about the SMM gonna wait a bit longer first I'm on the fence as to whether it's hype like the icon was or whether it's the badgers nadgers like you say

What single coils RDAs are you comparing against mate?

I'm considering the Pulse by Vandy Vapes, but I'm in no rush and will take my time a do a lot of reading and youtubin.

FWIW I really like the Icon, but I'm easy to please.

Not to discourage everyone, it's a good rta but being it's @DonBaldy 1st rta. It's a good choice. But for those of us with countless rta's, truthfully it's good but I still love my Wotofo Serpent Mini 25 more, with the single coil deck, it's loads quieter for a start and the rest, I think the 25 is better made. Just my honest opinion. :)

One of the things I like about the SMM is the single coil deck.

Yeah I'm digging it also for a single coil, I've found the sweet spot for me is with a 26x2/36 SS Fused Clapton around 0.24Ω. I find the threads a bit scratchy though and wish the hell they put some knurling around the top cap. What the FUCK do these manufactures have against knurling? It's a bitch more times than not to get the top cap off.

But it's a decent single coil RTA and I've been liking it so far.

No shit. SO far it hasn't been an issue, but that's my one dislike of the Icon RDA. No freaking knurling. the airflow is a red headed bitch to adjust on that thing.

as a guy with only two RDA's one being the Icon..I love it. My lack of experience may be a factor but it lives up to the hype for me lol

Well at first I was like maybe the seals broke from stress during shipping because the box is a little dinged up. Then I looked at the 510 and it definitely looks like a tanks been on it a few times already.

Problem for me was I had the Druga, Peerless and Skill RDA all about the same time as the Icon it doesn't compete with any of them in my opinion though the peerless I have a love hate relationship with it as it's got a horrible build deck

The Serpent SMM is awesome. Great tank. I have the Kylin also. Just seeps too much under the base for me. I also have the V2. Some days it isn't bad but then other days a good amount of liquid.

Love the SMM though. Simply awesome flavor. Great deck and all dry. My go to tank now for sure.

See everyone has their own tastes, likes and dislikes. That's the beauty of it all. I had the Serpent Mini 25 also months ago and didn't like it at all. Even gave it to my buddy and he didn't care for it much and liked his Ammit 22 better. We all go through RTAs when new ones come out. There will always be something better in our own opinions.

Right now side by side I'm vaping the Kylin dual Claptons SS 316 .21ohms and vaping at 430F on one Therion and the Serpent SMM single clapton SS 316, .40ohms, 430F on my other Therion and the Kylin is no match for the Serpent SMM. It's all in everyone's tastes

For me the airflow is too restrictive on the smm, and while the flavor is OK, it doesnt compete with most of my rda's

Yes I've went through a good amount of juice today on the SMM. I don't think I've actually vaped this much in a day. Mod has been constantly in my hand. Hardly put it down. Wife got annoyed for sure today lol

I've been really enjoying mine making the jump from an Ijoy Exo with exclusive use of the single coil setup. Great design. Easy refills, and probably the easiest to both build and wick tank I've ever owned. Seriously, you'd have to really really screw something up to get a dry hit on this thing. Smooth hits and flavor on par with my Aromamizer Supreme.

A touch loud, but nothing crazy. Didn't quite pass the 4ml test with my syringe either. I spend a lot of time filling this thing, but that isn't so bad either since it doesn't have (or need) the extra "make sure you close the juice control" step that essentially just exists to add a potential failure possibility to the refill process (another pro imho). Top cap unscrews wayyyy smoother then my Ijoy Exo ever did.

Haven't experienced even the tiniest bit of leaking yet.

I have the wotofo serpent mini, serpent alto and the smm. The smm has the best flavor of the three with no flooding or dry hits. The alto comes in a close second and mini is just ok. But the Smm has the best flavor of all mine and is the easiest to build of them all. Love it. Also the caps on these should only be JUST snug no need to tighten them any more.
