Did you leave the airflow open while you were not actually vaping?
Also, take the unit apart and carefully put it back together. Make sure none of the O rings are twisted and everything lines up correctly and that the coil is tight enough. Hand tight will be enough. Over tightening can compress the seals which can also cause leaks.

seems like what you said solve the issue, no leaking now but will give it a little bit more time and see.
