Havent bought an RDA since 2015 -- what are the popular ones now?

I have three mutation x v4's, so my RDA experiences are totally in 2015 or whenever they came out.

I'd love to try some of the new ones. I hear a lot about the goons. Can I get an idea of the most popular all-around RDAs right now? Many thanks as always.

I love my goon 24. I have heard some not so great things about the goon 1.5 but have not tried it myself. I hate my goon 22. The goon 24 is my all time favorite RDA.

I have two Goons, they are indeed good RDA's. Lately though I've been using the Dead Rabbit more, and they are cheaper too. May be worth looking at.

The og goon is great and the goon 1.5 is just as great as the og goon . I have 2 og goons and 4 goon 1.5s and I love them both the flavor and clouds you get from them both is amazing. The only other rda that I like as much as the goon is the apocalypse that's a good rda easy to bould on and has great flavor and clouds. The goons and the apocalypse are both well Biult and super easy to put coils in and wick hands down my money is on the goon . Or if you really wanna step it up you can get the Kennedy 25 which is a very amazing RDA very well-built easy to build on I just picked one up for myself and I'm liking it a lot so far

Me, the Goon is decent and I have 4 of them ;)

But to be honest there's better out there like the Reload, Fuel V2, and the Druga stomp all over the Goon. Also the Apocalypse I like better than the Goon.

Ive been using my dead rabbit over everything lately... I have 2 v1.5s, a V1 Recoil and a hand full of peerless but really digging the Dead Rabbit for flavor. I'm an over dripper also and it doesn't leak like the side airflow RDAs do.

Dead Rabbit is my go to duel coil RDA over my goons, which honestly surprised me. Wasp Nano is my go to single coil RDA despite having bought around 10 dif ones here lately (duel and single coils RDA's).

Don't have a rabbit or a goon but the pulse 24 I got today is real good. Post less design is very easy to build. Great flavor and clouds.

I think I might order a boxer next Friday. Still not sure. I've heard a lot of good and bad.

I didn't and I think I'm glad that I didn't. I was real close. Search reviews and decide for yourself.

I've experienced good and bad. I think that's with every device though. If you aren't hurting yourself financially by doing so, I'd say it's a decent mod. If things are tight and you are on a limited vape budget, I'd say there are maybe some better options.

I like the soft bottle, I like the form factor, I like the locking switch. I don't like the tiny bit of leakage I'm getting from the 510 on the inside of the mod, I don't like the blemish that mine came with, for the price it never should have gone out if there was any type of QC in place, and I don't like the gap between body and door. I like the way the contacts are made, I like how in the 2x700 version, the door holds the battery, and I like how all my 24mm RDA's sit flush. I don't like that the black is not black it's more like charcoal grey and I also don't like how if it gets scratched it's super obvious cause they are printed white then died (which is also why it's grey instead of black). I like how lite it is and how available it is compared to some other mods.

Squonkers are bonkers thread confirmed my apprehension and some reviewers indicated problems with the fire button. Plus other issues with that company steered me clear.

Good run down. I appreciate it

Been digging mechs here lately. Also as far as regulated goes 75w just doesn't cut it for me. Just hit up ohms law calc, on my mechs I'm rockin like 100w lol.

VTC5A and usually build between .1 and .15 sometimes higher but always below .2.

I like my peerless too, but not as much as the pulse. Pulse has way smoother airflow and is easier to build. Flavor is better too IMO.

Are you using the 24mm version or the 22? If you using 24mm, using as a dripper or for the squonk?

Im using the 24-as a squonk, but i feel as a regular rda it would fair just as well flavor/airflow wise. You could easily drip down the center and not have leaking issues due to the airflow "tube" like design. Also runs pretty well in single coil mode-though probably not as good as the 22 does.

Not and expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm loving the Dead Rabbit. Using it on a tube mech, but it works great on all of my regulated mods too. I do want to get and Pulse 22 and Wasp Nano to try out as soon as I have a vape budget again.

Hi guys and gals, after considering all of your responses and tons of others'...i bought these RDAs yesterday:

1. Tsunami (on sale for $5)
2. Pulse 22
3. Govad
4. Peerless
5. Goon 24, original (not 1.5 or LP)

Tried to get the dead rabbit but I accidentally got a second pulse 22...DANGIT. And I just saw that I did this. Oh well.

Going to get a cheap hadaly clone on FT as well. I usually dont order this much hardware at once, but I wanted to try a bunch of options since its been a while.

Sounds like you're going to have some fun. BTW where did you find the Tsunami for $5?

Yes, I'm hyped to get some builds on these guys and try them out, for sure.

Tsunami 24 ....on eciggity (for $6, i stand corrected), but I just checked it and oddly enough they apparently just sold out.

Excellent choices imo.
Good luck on your building journey sir :) And oh sorry for 22 pulse hehe

Some early feedback on these for me --

the goon, love it. Love it. Chucks mammaries, great flavor.

Tsunami: only tried one build in it so far, but the airflow is a vbit awkward for me thus far. It whistles also, it my desired airflow level. Flavor was average. I chalk it up to user error probably.

Pulse 22: Love it. Didn't think I'd love a single coil RDA like this,b ut it chucks and has very good flavor.

Govad: have a build in it that may not be best, so it's so so, so far.

...Still left to try is the peerless!

Okay, a little update:

Yes, it's been very fun trying these out. I'm so glad I went "modern." The old mutation x v4 was great but these are blowing it away.

  • Goon original, 24 mm: still loving it
  • Tsunami 24mm: Havent tried it again, still sitting on the shelf
  • Govad: New build, cleaned it better as well, and it's very good now. I'm happy with it for sure.
  • Pulse: Still love it love it.
  • Peerless special edition: This one I may love more than the goon. I love it. Great flavor, smooth airflow, no leaks, I can blow out all I want before my inhale and it's bone dry on the outer parts.

All of these are infinitely better than my old mutations at one thing also -- they don't leak. Especially the peerless, which accepts my over-dripping habit and keeps on chucking.

I'm very happy with all of them.

If anyone else has any suggestions for any others, I'm always open!

Just got the dead rabbit. It's a nice vape for sure. I vacillate between that the the pulse 24. I have a peerless too, like it but prefer the pulse and dead rabbit. My peerless cap is so hard to adjust the airflow it's a negative for me.

Ya its a strange design choice. You can just drip down the center though. If your planning on another rda look into the dead rabbit.

Like the dead rabbit. Nice RDA. The CSMNT is better. Better flavor using the same coils and cotton.

YES it is absurdly hard. I have to remove the entire cylinder to re-juice.

The Druga by Augvape is a great addition in the 24mm category - it's also easy on the eye and the pocketbook

This month I had a tighter budget...so the only hardware I have coming is a 24MM pulse, since I've enjoyed my 22MM pulse, even though I don't squonk. Rest of the $$ went to juice. I have DIY'd for a cuple years but I've been on a kick of buying premiums and seeing what I've been missing. It's been pretty fun actually, trying out a lot of them.

I just ordered a Hadaly clone and a Oumier Wasp Nano Mini from 3FVape this morning. I just now decided to order an authentic Pulse 22mm too while I was at it. Fasttech has them for less than $20.00 using the "MAP" discount code.
I have been liking single coil RDA's lately.

Love the 24mm pulse. The pulse has been a complete success as far as I can tell from my own experience and the general popularity of it in general.
