Huge Staple Staggerton in Pharaoh rda, not doing well...help

Hey guys I ordered some staple staggertons from a well known coil maker and the coils are beautiful but since just 1 coil ohms out around a .12 I decided to throw one of them in my pharaoh rda. I figured the flavor would be second to none but it's just mediocre. I'm pulling better flavor out of every other build, even simple claptons. Any ideas why this is?

Possibly a different metal? As in, you are used to the flavor of, say, Stainless Steel (or kanthal or nichrome) and these new coils are, say, nichrome. (Or kanthal, or SS)

And, i assume you have had other builds in the pharoah before? Different attys behave differently.

Yea I've ran multiple builds in it and they are stainless steel which I use on the regular. My be too much coil for it but I wouldn't have thought so

Every watt from 40-120w I think it's too much coil for the pharaoh. I probably need 90-130w with more airflow than the pharaoh offers. That's the only thing left to try lol and I've used so much cotton where I could barely get it through and have also ran it somewhat thin. I'm coming to the conclusion that it's just not the right coil for this atty

Easiest way I know is using the tapatalk app on a smartphone. Can post them directly from your photo library or camera.

Hard to say without seeing a pic but id experiment with wicking and then try upping wattage. Although i love building some coils are definetly more for show and less for go. Theres definetly a point of diminishing returns here. Best vapeing coils ive built are still alien stags.

I agree, James Mucklin aliens are my go to. His coils are amazing and very fairly priced. The huge staggerton I'm trying to use is a beautiful coil, just not working well in the pharaoh
