i got a strawberry bavarian cream, think i might have over did the Bavarian Cream, then i got blue razz with apple and some sour, but that is hard to tell, the coil still has a lot of the last juice taste to it and I even clean the coil and vaped a half tank of some other juice in it first still taste a bit like o'rangs from twelve monkeys, but this morning the apple and sour are there, ill have to try it out later in different tank with a new coil and see how it tastes then. guess this is where a dripper would be nice, maybe ill go get 1 this week.

Yeah some recipes need to be put on fresh cotton. I’ve tested many juices on the same coil before and it ends up tasting like fruit loops lol.

Dripper is definitely the way to go. Grab two if you can find some that don’t break the bank.

What brand strawberry you using?

Don't be disappointed if the juices you've made aren't great. There is a learning curve involved in juice making, so just stick with it. It's a very good idea to write down everything you do. I write down flavor name, how much I want to put in as grams and %, then I write down what I actually put in as it's easy to make mistakes, usually as in too much. If I go over .02 I want to know. I keep it in notebooks and in Excel. It's a good learning tool.

so when im testing single flavors, once i find the right % for that flavor. is that pretty much were id want to start when I start mixing it with other flavors, or do i cut back on, i know everything is different but for starting off,

The % you like for a single flavor is the starting point for when you mix it with other flavors. It gives you the baseline to move forward and backward. For example, if you find a berry flavor you like is muted when mixed with another flavor at your given percentage, then you can step it up a bit until you can taste it. Or you might have to back off a bit. It's only through trial and error can you find out.

However, the way flavors interact with each other can be quite complicated. Doing it by steps is probably the best way to figure it out. Another example would be a berry flavor you like. You then add one ingredient, let's say a cream such as Vienna Cream (you have a % for this one as well). You then find out how they work together. Once you've figured out if they work together to your liking, then add a third ingredient and so on. Some flavors can really make a huge difference while others won't. It's a science because you're mixing chemicals together and I'm referring not to additives in the flavoring but the chemical composition of what constitutes a strawberry or banana. It's also an art form that takes some time and effort to develop.

Go to this page and download the pdf, it's free. http://www.hicsmixes.com/notes-etc.html

HIC is a master mixer and a copious note taker. Read his descriptions of all of the flavors. It's a great starting point for a new mixer. If you check out his posts he explains a lot. If you buy his recipes he provides detailed explanations on the flavorings and how they work together. Over time you'll slowly absorb this stuff. It just takes time and effort but you'll get there.

Both of these are Awesome rdas. Can’t believe theyre $15.

Rdas you have to mount your own coils. If you don’t want to build them, you can buy them prewrapped. Then all you have to do is mount them.

Edit: a dripper is an rda. Making your own coils and wicking them with cotton makes it really easy to taste your juice before putting it in a tank and finding out you don’t like it.

A dripper is an atty (just has the coil or coils and wick area). They don't traditionally have a tank, however you can get an RDTA if you still want to have the tank portion. The difference is the juice is fed from the bottom, so you have to tip your rig to feed the juice in. But when testing juices you just pull the outter portion off, drip the juice on, put the outter portion back on and vape away. This is the exact reason I got my Limitless RDTA. I still wanted to have the tank portion for regular use, but the dripper is a must, IMO, for testing juices. It is a nice set up for what I like.

Couple of questions. You change only the wick when going to a new juice? How long does the coil itself last when changing the wicks out?

The single coil I have in my tester..... weighing in around 1.2 ohm and 15 watt max.....
has lasted me almost a year with just minor cleaning.....
Could probably last forever, but ill probably change it just because....

Coils will last a long time. Months. Your wicks you don’t have to change with every juice if you don’t want to. Only if it tastes weird, harsh or you can’t get the previous flavor out.

Very useful information guys. I own 3 cleito 120 tanks and 2 baby beast tanks. I dug around and they have rebuildables for both. I have a smok alien so i can adjust for whats needed too. Very good options for saving $ and i can stop wasting factory coils on some of the crap juices i have been making . Add a couple drippers to the inventory and i think im set. Well other then ill have to stop buying concentrates for a couple of weeks lol. Thanks again for the info and sorry for the thread hijacking.
