I'm talking about these things, with an atomizer at the bottom, a small tank at the top, and a connecting cone in the middle:
I've never tried one, so I'm trying to understand how the user controls the feeding of the atomizer - if it's possible at all.
My understanding is that the bottom end of the tank has a tiny hole in it, and when the user draws a puff, the partial vacuum pulls juice out of the tank through that hole. Yes, but... what happens if the user doesn't draw hard enough or draws too hard, the juice is too thick or too thin? If the juice doesn't feed properly, can you force it out of the tank with a hard suck? Or in other words, does it give you some control over how much juice is fed to the atty?
I've always had the feeling this system only works well when the stars are aligned - i.e. with he right vaper and the right juice - which is why I've stayed away from it up to now. But I'm looking into it now because I've found this atty: the Metis atomizer from Electra Pipes in Germany:
This thing looks like an A7 with a skirt that accepts eGo-T type A or B tanks. Which means, I could use it as a regular dripper with the regular 510 drip-tip skirt (and I like the A7 anyway), and I could switch to the eGo-T tank skirt to use hands-free when I drive, for example.
It's not really what I want. What I want is a good pump-action tank dripper, but that either doesn't exist, or it's way too expensive. The Metis atty might be a good compromise, provided the eGo-T tank system works, which I'm far from certain, particularly with my thick VG juices.
Can anybody share their experience with eGo-T atomizer tanks?
