I am soon most likely buying ijoy limitless rdta with a stick v8 battery from a person i do not know. Do you guys think that its a good idea to use stick v8 battery with rdta. And how much should i be paying for this slightly used set?First time buying an rdta, anything extra i should know bout it?
P.s. sorry bout asking so many questions I am just really paranoid that I may get scammed cus im very new to vaping.

IMO the Limitless and v8 stick would not be satisfying. You can not adjust your wattage on v8 stick. The Limitless will provide a good vape. Do you have a mod and do you know how to install wire and wick?

Im on a budget, so im not planning to buy a mod. I dont think i would really bother not being able to lower the wattage as long as there are enough clouds

Got a Limitless here. Can agree it is a good RDTA, it would probably also do well as squonking RDA had I all of the kit which came with it. I bought it second hand at a B&M shop for around $40. I can say it is probably a good all around atomizer despite my having it packed up presently.

I use RDA mainly, ones that come ready for squonking or can be easily made so. Not tried using a "stick V8" so cannot say one way or another if it would be a good combo with the Limitless. Not even sure it would be good or bad mod.

Extras you might want to consider are having new and fresh o-rings on hand, all various sizes. This is in case you get any leaks from the tank/RDTA. I have a good box full of o-rings here. If I recall correctly, might have paid around $3 USD for the box of 'em. Even RDA can need fresh o-rings at times.

Wire & wick, hm. It sounds like you are indeed quite new if you're too sure about them other than they're done. That's not good or bad, merely an observation. If you're coming into rebuild-able tanks, RDA/RDTA, you might consider watching some Youtube videos on coil building, building various different RDA/RDTA. Then, buy a basic starting kit for building coils, practice with that a little, just make a few coils.

Then, you might consider an RDA with something like a Velocity style deck. These kind of decks are super easy to build on for a starting out builder. :) They are also great "all around" decks too. Goon are good RDA to use as well for their ease of building on. Granted these are not RDTA, you will gain experience from learning to build on them that can carry over to RDTA. Once you learn the basics the more crafty, more artistic you can become.

I'm considering doing a braided coil this morning. Got to such a point by knowing the basics. I'll wick that coil with Muji organic cotton. I've used Ready X & Rayon for wick material. So far out of these three materials I think the Muji cotton is my choice, Again this is from experience, from learning the basics.

Please don't read this and think I'm cutting you down. I'm not. I tell anyone coming in new to try learning the basics. It's the basics which will keep going. I'm sure someone might be along to suggest you get a regulated mod and use factory built coils. That indeed might suit, too. It does work for some, for others it doesn't.

It should have a ring on the outside of three air holes. You ought to have an inner cap piece that can be rotated. You can open all the holes. Other than that I'm not sure unless you decide to drill out more holes, enlarge the holes there.
