Just watch a couple youtube videos. Not much to it for plain wire builds.

Wicking is the real trick on RTA’s. Which is why I am a 100% dripper. Foolproof wicking.
That’s what I have done before I even got the tank just figured if anyone had any little tricks or tips they could pass on I would ask

Just go for it. I started wrapping my own coils 2 days ago and I've already got a nice variety made and tested a few out.

Wrapping the wire was fairly straight forward. A few hand tools make life easier (Tweezers, needle nose pliers, nail clippers)

Wicking was trial and error, you've got to waste a bit of cotton, and leak a bit of juice to really learn the ropes.

I was amazed at how quickly I picked up on the basics. After 2 days of dicking around and watching youtube videos I've managed to wrap, install, and wick my setups without issues.

I actually got a really good deal on the coil master v3 coil building kit and it has everything you need I got it from a guy on eBay for 37 bucks and got it in like 4 days and it’s authenticate kit I’m not trying to find a good rta tank I have the troll but the lack of a 510 adapter hurts me cause I have a lot of those tips I would like to use in it so I’m hunting down other tank options now

Not much to it a few wraps of kanthal and you can get a really nice vape. You can get into more complicated builds if you want to make a hobby of it but keeping it simple works well too.

Any suggestions on a good rta tank anyone

As a builder, I have tried several rta’s and rdta’s. None have floated my boat.

So, I am biased, but I say the best rebuildables are rda’s.

I chain-vape and not a single rta I have tried can keep up on the juice flow. Not a single rda I have bought has “let me down.”

Plus, wicking an rda is foolproof. And it is way easier to fix a coil and/or wick problem on an rda. Also there is a lot more build room on a 24mm rda than a 24mm rta.

I would START new with a top feeder....Avocado, limitless or Azeroth and get used to building coils and wicking. Top feeders are easy to build and very forgiving.

IMHO YMMV.

My suggestion would be something like IJOY RDTA Combo. It is basically an RDA with a tank below the coils. The slot you see in img2 is for filling the tank. (holds 5ml)
