A few flavors from bull city, including FA juicy strawberry, can't wait to try this one out! Not really vape gear but I got a new scale from amazon coming today. My old one's a little busted, it tends to read really wrong lately, there is no way one drop of flavoring is half a gram

Got my scale yesterday, giving it a test later with a simple shake and vape. Got some more VG. Was down to half a liter so I was getting nervous. Got some replacement items for my tank coming later. Been a nice, albeit a bit pricey week.
@gadget! can you give some more insight into the wismec p80 mod’s pros and cons please?
I’m considering purchasing it to use with an OBS Engine Nano and/or the new Zeus RTA from Geekvape. Do you think this would be a good mod for those types of tanks (low to mid wattage on a single coil)? I’m mostly interested to hear about the build quality of the mod and the battery life on a single 18650.
Any insight is appreciated

The build quality is great, it's a sweet looking mod. It is a fingerprint magnet though if that bothers you@gadget! can you give some more insight into the wismec p80 mod’s pros and cons please?

As far as battery life, I'm probably not the best judge there. I usually have about 3 different mods in front of me and rotate between the 3 but it seems to be up to par with the other single battery mods I have.
I bought it because I wanted something small that I can put a tank on and carry around in my pocket. It works great for that, I couldn't be happier.
My only complaint and it might be something I am doing wrong, is that I can't seem to get it to hold in TC mode. If I set it in TC mode when the device has been sitting for a while it will work for about a half a dozen puffs then it automatically reverts to Watts mode and is set at 20 watts.
It performs well in Watts mode, for that matter it performs well in TC mode when I can get it to stick.

It will be my first and only mod, as I’m upgrading from a broken kanger subvod starter kit, hence my interest in battery life.
But I do have a nitecore d2 and a couple of 18650s knocking about, so I’ll just have to be proactive with charging spare batteries to carry with me.
Do you ever use the p80 whilst charging it via the mod? As that is a feature I like the sound of, just in case I’ve drained all my batteries and cba to wait for it to charge.
Strange that the TC doesn’t stick, not sure if this would be an issue for me though as I’m planning on getting to grips with wattage before I mess around with TC. Also, it could just be an unfortunate issue with you particular mod? Or, like you imply, a potential user error? Please let us know if the problem persists or if you find a way to resolve it!
I want a portable mod, so single battery seems the way to go, I hope this will be the perfect fit! Is it your favourite single battery mod?

I'm hoping to get it resolved because I do like the mod.
That's a hard question to answer, for size, weight and comfortable pocket use I would have to say yes. But my all time favorite single battery mod is the Therion 75c bf, it's a squonker and is in the upper end of the mod category. It just flat works! Everything about it fits my style of vaping and out of all of the mods I have used TC mode on the Therion is spot on.
No problem, we've all been there.
If you are hard on your equipment I'm not sure the P80 would be the best choice, it looks good and performs well but it is plastic so in the long term I don't think it would hold up as well as some of the metal mods out there.
I bought a used Eleaf iStick 60 here on the board (thanks @WraithPC) and this thing is bullet proof. It only goes to 60 watts but I never even go that high with my style, and it doesn't support SS in TC mode so I don't know how it performs in TC mode. I'm running it with a Serpent SMM single coil tank with a 0.45 clapton coil at 35 to 40 watts and it is fantastic.

I dont hate it but I dont like it you know what I mean I was never a fan of tobacco flavours because I'd always want to empty out the contents of my stomach but this seems okay doesnt make me wanna puke. In low light the thing looks like it has a light inside of it.

If I ever do manage to get one, I'll be using the Berserker RTA with it. I can use the Berserker with my CF4's without any overhang, but then I can only adjust by .5w increments, using those mods, which really doesn't suit me.

Well I wanted to test the battery life on the Aegis in it's native form so I have been using it exclusively for the last 8 hrs now. I just hit 200 on the puff counter and have gone through just under 4 tanks of juice.
That and you all know when you get a new mod you spend a considerable amount of time just playing with the menus and settings.
I would have thought it would be dead by now but it's still going strong!

I can't help you there, I don't vape on that high of watts.
I currently put the 30mm Death Trap on it with a dual build at 0.26, I'll see how that goes and report back.

Just placed an order with fasttech for the RBA head for my big baby beast, was swapping coils and got 2 duds in a row, I said fuck it time to move on. Also got some glass and some more stuff for it. Working on a few recipes but don't feel like mixing right now, maybe later.
I gave up on factory coil heads a long time ago and now use RDAs and RTAs exclusively.
I've gotten the same way. Last 2 tanks I've ordered were benched in a month. Have only been looking at rta & rda lately.

Yay! My 4 new Sony VTC5a's that I ordered yesterday came in. I love when I'm able to order from a place in the same city and I didn't have to spent the gas to drive across town (Houston is a geographically large area) to get them or pay for overnight shipping.
