Hey all,
I've been thinking of getting a new setup for a bit and I'm gonna get another mod. I wanted a mech mod that's a sleeve, (or tube mod) 25mm diameter, and a matching RDA so it's flush. I don't wanna spend more than $300. Any input is appreciated

My current daily setup is the Admiral Mod with iJoy Combo RDA (both clones from FT) 25mm mod and RDA, completely flush and can run both the 20700 battery or it comes with a tube “adapter” to run 18650 batteries if you’d rather.

Pretty good looking setup...I’ve gotten many compliments from fellow vapers and random folks. Hits ridiculously hard (I can only speak for the Brass Version). This is what mine looks like

The extra 1mm really is noticeable if you use big/thick coils...I very comfortably run my standard 6-Wrap Triple Core Aliens around a
3mm precision screwdriver that I build with ease.

EDIT: Obviously, with it being shipped from China there will be a wait period to get and some people think clones and buying from FT are works of the devil, but when you just move into a new place and are broke, you do whatcha gotta do, lol.
I’m sure authentics would work just as well, but I’m not going to recommend something that I don’t personally own and can vouch for. At $25.59 for the whole setup and free shipping, you can’t beat it for what you get.

You're not drinking water are you?! You realize that stuff is found in antifreeze!?!

Thanks for the input. I want to go the authentic route. I have a brass broadside but it's hard to maintain since I need to polish it every couple days if I don't it doesn't look very nice. But the mod you showed me is what I'm looking for. Just need something authentic. I thought about the Subzero X https://subohminnovations.com/products/subzero-x-competition-mod-pre-order?variant=43470778954

If I had the $$, either the Sith (needs the 25mm cap which is extra) or the Bane would be what I'd be looking at. Both from HStone. Both looks super comfortable

Maybe a Katana or a Miura from RNV. So tiny and they look good.

Dragon's Den had stab wood Toldak mods down to $300 during their Halloween sale though that's not really what you're looking for

$300.00 will give you good room to get either one hell of a good mod.. but I don't understand why people pay that much for a simple mechanical vape when there are kick ass vapes like the geekvape Athena, Mech Pro, and the Noisy Cricket v2 d22 or 25.

Those three mechanic mods are on my list and pack many cool features on them and are user friendly (cricket is fussy for a "mechanical" like not).

My buddy got a Sebone and while the feel was pretty fucking amazing it's a mechanical mod. What makes a $300 mech mod better than the noisy cricket? While I thought the Sebone was cool as hell it functioned the same as any other good mech mod. Infact.. I really do like the Sebone, and will recommend it because I've used it ton it's solid as fuck...

But, the NC has so many fucking options and for me (im a tinker addict) would be better than most of these regular mech boxes and tubes.

I'd spend 40 to 90 on a mech and spend the rest of the money in my price range on a couple rdtas, and other attys, batteries, and a baseball batt engraved Clouds Bro Killer.

I saw the Sebone and I'm loving it. I can't see to find any American retailers that have it in stock. Really don't want to go with 3FVape since they're out in China.

I was thinking about getting the SZX as well. Can't find much user experience on it though.

Edit: As far as RDA's go, I'd use my goon, apocalypse or recoil on it since they're all stainless steel

Been looking at getting an authentic broadside too. They're cheap ($130ish) and a lot of people say its the hardest hitting mech they've used.
