This is another that was adapted from one of my daily emails from a recipe site called "Just a Pinch." I made this one back in March and wasn't very impressed with it the day I made it, so it got shoved back to the "juice graveyard" on my desk only to be rediscovered today. It's definitely improved with age!
All FlavourArt flavorings:

Espresso - 1%
Irish Cream - 1%
Whiskey - .5%
Peppermint - .5%
Chocolate - .5%
Cocoa - .25%
Whipped Cream - .5%

I'm tasting a rich, dark coffee with chocolate undertones and a touch of peppermint. The whiskey doesn't stand out much, but I can tell it's there. If you prefer it a little boozier, raise the whiskey to taste. And as opposed to the 8 month steep my mix ended up with, I'm thinking a couple weeks would suffice. ;)

I bet this would be good with SC Cappuccino. It is hands down the best coffee type flavor I've had and way better than FA Espresso Skunk Pee (unless it ages a long while and it's still kind've skunky to me). If you've never tried SC Cappuccino @Teresa P and like coffee vapes, it's well worth the $3.

I have not, matter of fact I have no SCs at all.......lol! Might have to check into that one.
I do love the FA dark bean, but truthfully the best coffee flavor I've ever had was from the German Flavors line at Vaperstek.

I swear you can taste the coffee grounds in this one, it's awesome!

I may have to try that one. Nothing wrong with having two great coffee flavors and I think I remember you mentioning in another thread a while back about how good that is :)

Whipped Cream - .5%
I enjoy Mama J's Peppermint Mocha Tiramisu so...I was going to make this (both have FA Peppermint! :)) butt...all I have is FW & CAP Whipped Cream.:cuss2:
(I have everything else)
I was going to order some FA Whipped Cream from BCF ...butt...they don't carry it.:(

I think FA discontinued that flavor, but I'm not 100% certain. If they did, I don't recall why exactly either. Probably had some of the "bad stuff" in it.
Ecig express carries it. They carry some if not most of the FA flavors with the " bad stuff " ( from their kitchen line ), including Butter and the old Yogurt.

I guess I was way off then unless all of their stock of whipped cream is a getting a little old. It's not even listed on the Flavour Art web site. FA does have butter and the new yogurt listed on their site though.

It's not even listed on the Flavour Art web site.

Here's the linky...

https://flavourart.com/en/store/flavors/sweet/cream-whipped-flavor/

( Not to be kinky, but you sometimes have to put the cream before the whip ...at least when searching.:) )

I see it says...
"This flavor contains Diacetyl and/or related diketones. Not suitable for vaping."

The same warning is on the Ecigexpress site, but that doesn't stop those who don't have an issue with diketones. Many of the best-sellers from other brands contain diketones. Fa just chooses not to promote it in their vaping line i suppose, and BCF doesn't carry any of them ( i'm pretty sure, but not certain ).

Try it with the Caps wc at 1%, it's just there to "thicken" the flavor profile anyway. I haven't tried FW wc, so can't advise.

Will do!
I keep a good supply of the CAP’s around to make wllmc’s hot chocolate mix. (I like the CAP better than FW too)

Ron
As I like to compare the ones that I do have: TFA is like Cool Whip, Caps is the stuff in a can, and FA tastes like homemade, heavy whipped cream.

I'm sensitive  to all the stuff people say "some" get with this "certain" flavor...
TFA VBIC - Straight Creamy Black Pepper.
CAP V1 - Egg, paste and chemical spills in 3rd world countries.
ALL or 99% of Coffee flavors - Bitter skunk remains.
MOST Chocolates - Band aids and hairspray undertones.

So needless to say my DIY life has been a little rocky but I DO really like SC Cappuccino, so far the only one I can drown out the very slight skunk taste with creams and other coffee goodies like hazelnut or vanilla. Def a +1 from me for SC Cappuccino :teehee:.

Now for the wait.

Ron

The suggested 7 day wait is...Over!

I'm getting smooth and cool peppermint with chocolate on the inhale and chocolate and a little lighter peppermint on the exhale. They swapped. Light coffee and lesser alcohol notes are always there. Delicious!

For me, what sets this apart from other somewhat similar flavored mixes I've tried is that I can vape this one all day. Not that the other mixes were bad, but simply very rich tasting and sometimes cloyingly sweet. Not that I don't enjoy those attributes; I just am not able to vape all that much of it. Of course, those other mixes were not usually meant as beverages and this one certainly is one. The sweetness level is spot on for my tastes and If you are looking for candy... like everybody else...you'll have to reach in my pocket. :)

The Espresso, Peppermint, and Chocolate flavors are easily discernible on their own as well as form a nice tasty blend. The
Whipped (and other) Creams with the Whiskey for me play the important supporting role role well. While it is the nature of of DIY'ers to consider and perhaps implement alterations in other's recipes, there's nothing I would change in this one.

Thanks Again Teresa!

I'm also enjoying this, though its only been a week so far. Thanks Teresa. :)

But I normally just mix little 10ml shake-n-vapes, so I need some patience to keep from playng with it.
And despite a number of creams which I rarely use, I don't have Whipped Cream... I used a skosh each of VBIC and I think Vienna.
I made up a 30ml bottle and have been using it... almost half gone and so far it's a very tasty, smooth choco-mint.

But... I think I'll make a second to put up for a couple weeks, and when this one gets down to a third or a quarter... top it up something like the Solera method for aging booze. Though I've debated whether to adjust the percentages lower or not, as I find it just a tad mild. I suspect an adjustment would be a mistake... the Espresso and Whiskey may "bloom" over the next week or so.
And who knows what it'll become if I can repeat the procedure a half dozen times over a few months. :p

(Who am I kidding... there's little chance I can exhibit that kind of patience. :D )

The Solera method...

https://www.google.com/search?num=2....1.64.psy-ab..3.3.669...0i131k1.0.mX-wEQHeGSs

Because it's almost physically impossible to barrel age spirits in the Caribbean for 20 years, due to evaporation losses (~5%/yr.).

That 23 year old Ron Zacapa... isn't. ;)

Thanks fellas! I truly appreciate it!

No... thank you. (there's a comedy routine we should avoid starting. ;) )

It's good stuff, and I really should start finding recipes to use all these creams I accumulated. :)

Now that you've been back at this one for a couple weeks, and it's um... "fully steeped" at that... would you change any of the percentages?

eta: I should mention, especially in the colder weather, I usually have a Pendleton type shirt on... and I keep my two or three 10ml bottles in the shirt pocket.
They're kept pretty warm that way, and get a fair number of shakes as well when I top off a tank.
Can't quantify the effect... but it makes my use of "shake-n-vape" a little more nebulous.

A week of that may have helped this recipe even more.

Maybe - depending on the mood - I'd like to taste more of the whiskey. I'm not sure if the .5% may have faded some over those months (wish I'd found it sooner) or if that percentage just wasn't enough to suit. And I'd even thought of trying a run with brandy instead, just to try. I can still get a touch of whiskey at the written percentage, but the recipe is based on an actual beverage so more might be better, maybe not.

I was gathering up the flavors and another bottle a bit ago and came across a number of 60 mls I never use (love the easy pop off spout... but they have some damn diffuser I can't cut or dig out that restricts it ridiculously) so I figured... what the hell, bang out a 60. :p

I did double the Whiskey to 1% and upped most everything else by up to a third.
I'll add a bit as needed to the 30ml and if it does turn out to be a bit too flavorful... it's a large bottle, I can just dilute a bit.

It'll likely be a while before I'd have to make that decision... it doesn't fit easily in the shirt pocket for warmth. :D

Any suggestions for replacing Whipped Cream? I might have it.

Do you have any brand of whipped cream?

No.

From memory... it's all various dairy milk, sweet cream, Vienna, Bavarian.
I'd be surprised if I mistakenly added whipped to an order... I don't care for the stuff IRL. ;)

FA fresh cream (cream fresh)?

Nope.

A quick look around finds...
FA's Bavarian and Vienna. Cap Sweet Cream, TFA Dairy Milk and FW VBIC.

The never used bakery/pastry selections have TFA Vanilla Custard, CAP Cake Batter and an Inawera Lemon Cake.
(that won't help here... just reminding myself I should find a use for it. Smells interesting. ;) )

If I had to choose from what you have on hand, I'd say the Cap sweet cream at 1%. Wouldn't particularly add "fluff" but would likely have more of a "cream in your coffee" type effect. Try it and see, it may be better, who knows?

Thanks. If I try a small reworked version, I'll give that a try.

I went with the Vienna/VBIC because I thought the Sweet and Bavarian both had a "heaviness" and the Vienna has some unidentified "bite" that I thought would go better with the Whiskey and Irish Cream.

But these things change with aging, in ways I've not experienced, so I could have chosen... poorly.

Another week...

I've bled off ~15ml to the in-use bottle. Trying to give it time to work. :p

Upping the whiskey is better IMO, and the increases of the others doesn't seem to have hurt.
It's coming along well... I'd never used my Irish at this low a percentage so I'm glad to find it still quite pronounced.

Now, almost a month later, as expected, the Espresso has become more muted while the Chocolates continue providing a balanced rich background. The Peppermint has become a touch more prominent. Perfect timing for a nice holiday vape. :bliss:
