Quitting Vaping

At the rate I'm going, I think I've become a casual vaper, meaning a few vape breaks in the evening, maybe a few before going to work. During the day I don't even have any vape gear with me anymore. Its an interesting change, especially considering I never made an effort to quit smoking or cut back on vaping altogether. That said, there is no doubt in my mind that vaping is truly the most effective way, probably the only way, to kick smoking without being saddled with any of the stress of doing so.

I smoked a pack a day for 25+ years, and up around last year, was going through 30ml bottles of juice in 3-4 days vaping away on my RDA.

Will I get rid of all my gear and go cold turkey? No, that's very unlikely, as I said before, will always enjoy a vape here and there, same with having a dinner liqueur, like a Sambuca or Advocaat; definitely not something I would enjoy drinking every day, but nice to know its always there when I want it ;)

do people quit vaping or are they lifer? the reason i ask this is because i never hear any talk about getting off vaping. we all know that vaping is harm reduction and not harm free, and yet nobody talks about quitting vaping. instead we treat vaping as a hobby. i'm not sure if thats a good thing or not. also i was wandering if there are people who start vaping never having smoked ?

Hey everyone I've been vapping for about 3 years now and for the last few months I've had a mixed amount of side effects. The effects I've experienced are sore throat, sore weezy lungs, feeling like I'm gong to puke, head aches that last on constianly for a week, to feeling like I can't think properly, when I used to drink I would get the spins from nothing, or feeling like I'm freezing cold when I got high. That's my list I know those effects for drinking and smoking occoured from the vape because I've subsequently stopped vapping to an amount that's once a day and all the effects that I felt have stopped except the head aches that go away until I next vape, the vape juices I've used have been between 3 and 6 are low pg or none at all. Im just curiouse if any other seasond vapers are experiencing any of this. Or if anyone is experiencing this from being a vaper for a longer period of time. I would love to see what other people have to say and if anyone relates please message me. The other thing is if anyone knows of any clinical studies going on about the effects of vapping, or doctors work ing on the effects of it to get in contact with me. Maybe I'm miss diagnosing these effects I've experienced but I can only know if this gets heard if you've read this please share it so I can put my mind to rest.

Meh, I may at some point or I may not for it all depends on if I stop loving it. I was on the Stinkies for 36+ years, pack and a 1/2 a day. Currently I've went hours to a full day without Vaping and I'm not climbing the walls it's just something I enjoy. Currently there is no legitimate peer reviewed studies that shows Vaping to be harmful. If you believe Vaping is harmful then stay away from Kitchens and never cook anything.

Please show me the studies for long term inhalation studies on PG, VG, and flavorings.

so until there is proof, we can't rightly say that it ISN'T harmful at all, to vape.

One thing any of us COULD say, is how we feel better, have a better sense of smell, and can breathe better.

So how about we don't paint vaping as a completely safe act, ok? It does none of us any favors.

We could all just hole up in a cave somewhere or live in an environmentally sterilized bubble cowering at potential unproven hazards.

Me I'm perfectly content trusting the the likes of the Royal Collage of Physicians. It's not like they were the ones who started/lead the charge against Tobacco back in the late 50's and are the most respected Medical Science organizations in the world that have only been around 500 years ya know.

To answer your question, yes. I know a few people who quit or plan on quitting vaping. However they are also the people who dont join a forum for vaping. They see the success rate of quitting smoking, and do just that. They are also the people who dont use flavors, cept for the cig flavor. They still use the cig-a-like or pen(ego) style. Hell a buddy of mine still uses an ego with clearo. not even an ego twist style, PLAIN EGO, 650mah. Because it's kept him off cigs.
me however, nope dont plan on quitting.

Update that guy is now quit vaping. Doesn’t bother him at all. My im DIYing and make videos.
