I was on Kanger's main website and noticed that they have list of companies that they know are selling fake Kanger products.

Several companies that have been mentioned her as places people by from are on the list including
101vapes.com and some specific eBay and Alibabba sellers.

Note added 11/26: Please see 101vape's response to this issue which includes a chat transcript with Kanger in Post #5 of this thread.

101vape recently posted about this.. they refused to raise the prices of the Kanger products so they lied and said they are selling knock offs... Kanger has some very shady dealings - 101vape even posted the chat convo with a rep from Kanger.. don't believe this list whatsoever

Interesting note, do you have a link to it that might be helpful for others trying to make a decision on where to spend their money given this list posted on the Kanger main website?

Thanks

I will have to try and find it - I forget the name of 101Vape's rep here on VU to tag him on this thread..

Yes this was addressed in another thread but I will post here as well.

Although we are not authorized they are still authentic. All of our kanger products can be verified using the scratch off stickers included in their box.

Kanger put us on that list because we refused to raise our prices and we would not reveal to them the name we purchase under so they couldn't stop our supply.

This is a bit of the chat between myself and Emily of Kangertech

Well done Zeus. I hate price fixing and am glad to see a vendor not playing that game. Your willingness to find a way around this practice adds dollars to my wallet for which makes me happy.

@Zeus thanks for posting that transcript. I know that a lot of the VU community purchases from 101vapes and I'm glad to see you come forward to clear up this issue and state that your products have valid authenticity codes.

I know that fake products being sold as genuine is a sad fact in this industry and hate that people have come forward in this forum to identify vendors, including B&M's that sell fake products intentionally.

Hopefully this thread will help others more easily find your company's response to the issue and explanation of why your company's name appears on the Kanger "copycat" list, especially given the fact that I personally have been eyeing your site for several products myself.

I have purchased from 101 on several occasions and will so in the future. I bought authentic as well as non authentic products all were what they should have been. They are a first rate vendor. Kanger is just throwing a tantrum because they can't control this vendor with threats of with holding their products unless they meet their price fixing demands.

I've ordered from them several times as well. Always a good experience and products were always spot on.

Glad you saw this post - I couldn't remember the other thread you showed that chat convo on.. I love you guys at 101vape and I will continue to support your site.. I really hate that Kanger is trying to impact your customer base because of this crap..

This kind of stuff goes on all the time, in various industries. They call if the grey market. Legit stuff, purchased by an authorized dealer and sold off to another dealer. Since the second dealer is not authorized, they can sell for whatever they want. However, if the authrized dealer gets caught, they will get cut off. Price fixing 101. Not to be confused with 101 vapes, they are doing this for our benefit! :)

Exactly....Joyetech pulled this same stunt some time back with their bogus list which still exists...this was done to discredit vendors selling legit products but pricing well below MSRP using the same method of obtaining product that 101Vape is employing...I recall seeing some other manufacturers doing this as well but I cant remember which...

I've bought from 101Vapes on multiple occasions. I doubt very much anything I have from them is a knock off. All the Kanger products came in the Kanger box with the authorization code.
