Comparing Three Chinese Vendors

I made an order with Fasttech on the 24th of November.
On the same day I made an order with Vaporl.
Two days later I made an order with Heavengifts.

- Fasttech the order has left Beijing and is en route to Canada
- Vaporl the item is in stock (supposedly) and the order is "processing".
- Heavengifts the order is "complete". A tracking number has been provided, although it's not in any system yet.

In my experience Fasttech has consistently been the best place to shop if you want your order filled and delivered quickly.

I'll let you all know how long these take to get to my door.

I paid for the upgraded shipping, as available, on all of these orders.
Fasttech shipping Canada E packet was about $2.
Vaporl shipping for packages under $49.99 was about $5.
Heavengifts shipping China E packet was about $9.

The race is on.

That depends. I order regularly from 3FVape and FT. The former beats out the latter by a country mile, both in delivery speed and customer service. For some reason, every shipment from FT gets hung up in Singapore. Who the fuck knows why? I've been waiting 3 weeks for 20 squonk bottles from FT. It's annoying.

I'v been ordering from FT for years and yeah, it gets hung up for a few days in china then ships.
Ordered from 3f a couple times and it's about a day in china then on the boat.

Had a mod shipped by FT and it got snagged by officials per FT, new government or some shit.
A week later it said sent back to FT. I said refund. They said no, they contacted and had it sent to me.

3 weeks later with no update contested the charge with paypal and got my money back in a couple days.

Shit happens with shipping but the way they dealt with it, it was my last FT order. Story is longer but that was the condensed version. They said anything they could to delay and again and again said please wait.

3f seems to be a couple days shorter transit time than FT was over the years of buying through them and I agree that from shipment notification to actually leaving the country seems to consistently be a couple days shorter wait.

I'm sorry, but after waiting 3 months on a RDA from Vaporl, and then coming home after a very hard day's work to have to leave again and go to the post office to sign for it and pick it up, I can assuredly tell you I will never order from them again.
I've dealt with FT for a couple years and never had issues till recently. Items showing in stock, then getting a message a week after I've ordered, telling me it's discontinued...waiting a couple of months for an item to ship when it shows "ships in X days"...listing an item as one thing, then receiving something that doesn't fit the description....
I've only recently ordered from 3F, four items now, and all have been delivered, as described, in less than two weeks. I'll be using them more often.

3F was a bit slower for me, but that was my bad on the ship times.
left a week later than my gearbest order and got here 3 days faster.

I'm one of the isolated few who has had no problem with GearBest. I guess I'm just waiting my turn...bound to happen eventually.

The FT & the HG parcels still say en route to Canada.

This is what my Vaporl parcel is showing:
  • The item is ready for shipment----CANADA
    6
    2017/12/6 3:49:00
  • The item is pre-advised----CANADA
    5
    2017/12/4 2:00:00
  • The Item is at the shippers warehouse----CANADA
    4
    2017/12/1 1:24:00
  • Departed Facility in SHENZHEN----SHENZHEN
    3
    2017/11/30 8:07:24
  • Arrived at Sort Facility SHENZHEN----SHENZHEN
    2
    2017/11/30 8:07:24
  • Shipment information received

I don't know what any of that means or where the parcel is now.

The winner by a long shot is FastTech. The item is out for delivery. Heaven Gifts is still en route to Canada and Vaporl still says ready for shipment.

Same for me. I've never had an issue with them, but I've not ordered from them a ton of times.

For the most part, I've had good experiences with China vendors.

How prescient of you Chuck.....

I currently have orders from FT and 3F pending.

FT order placed on 11/18. I got a email on 11/21 saying that it has shipped. There is no update since then; just the obligatory “PROCESSED THROUGH FACILITY SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA”.

3F order placed on 12/1. I got an email on 12/3 saying it has been shipped. There is no update since then; just the obligatory “origin post is preparing shipment”.

Like many, I’ve about had it with overseas vendors.
My new homies are at vaporider.net in Houston.
Ordered 12/3 and received 12/8

Very doubtful I'll order from Vaporider again unless they're the only ones who have something I want. Nothing against them, they're awesome, usually same day shipping. But there's something up with the postal trail between them and me that's comparable to the Bermuda triangle. No sense in anything taking 10 to 12 days to get from Texas to Tennessee.

When the tracking information shows "en route to Canada.for several days, the product absolutely is waiting for the plane to Canada, and it still in China!!!

What's wrong with Chinese vendors? What's wrong is that these guys get paid the second you place your order. They can then take their sweet time filling your order and use the cheapest and often slowest shipping method available. What do they care? They have your money. If they take their time it's like an interest free loan. If they use the cheapest service available, as long as it provides a tracking number (often useless) it's money in their pockets.
If you're waiting for a parcel that is long overdue and you question the vendor he gives you a virtual shrug of the shoulders. We've shipped it, is the usual response, as if they have no control. At this point they have little if any control. They have plenty of control up front though. There's a reason why one vendor's parcels always arrive quickly while another vendor always is usually painfully slow. They have shipping options available. Faster service costs them a bit more but it is out there.
If your parcel is too slow remind the vendor over and over and over. He should share in the pain of waiting unacceptable amounts of time for delivery. Use vendors that have a good track record. Share your experiences with others so they're aware of what they're in for. If parcels weren't paid for until the mailman hands it to you, things would be a lot different.
We need to maybe use a crytocurrency that is in a locked wallet that isn't allowed to be opened by the vendor until the package is signed for and will revert back to the purchaser in a specified number of days where the package remains undelivered, kind of like a pizza joint, we deliver in 30 days or it's free.
We tend to excuse bad service from China because of it's distance and the fact that we think many things are uncontrollable, especially over there. They're not uncontrollable and there's no good excuse for bad service.
I realize some of the time that a package takes to arrive is a domestic issue but often parcels will take weeks, even months before they are presented to customs for evaluation, that's on the vendor.

Well my HG parcel arrived a couple of days ago. The clear loser then is Vaporl.

I ordered once from Vaporl. 21 days delivery, comparable with my FT orders bur, my FT orders took longer to ship, not in transit but to actually leave their warehouse.

For Fasttech the purchase was a Vaporesso Gemini tank. That arrived very quickly and was under 20 dollars with upgraded shipping. The heaven gifts was one ephro billow and two ephro morph tanks at just over 20 dollars with upgraded shipping about 6 or 7 weeks. The Vaporl was a Smok Marshal G320 mod at 30 with shipping still not arrived at 8 weeks.

BTW a friend won a Blitzen tank from 3F and it arrived in about a week. There really is no excuse for a package to take more than 4 weeks to arrive. It's just cheaping out on shipping that's the cause. If you're paying for upgraded shipping you should get your parcel in a timely fashion.

Some of these vendors have warehouses in the US as well, so some items can arrive more quickly. And in a lot of cases it's customs that's keeping your item from getting to you as quickly as it should. I've tracked items as arriving on US soil a good two weeks before they landed in my mailbox.

I'm aware of this. It's no mystery where your parcel is coming from and when it arrives in your country. It should not take six weeks for a parcel that you've paid extra for expedited shipping to arrive in the destination country.

Shut the fuck up! We'll get to it!

Nope, it should not. And that's all on our postal system. Shouldn't take 12-14 days for something to get from Texas to Tennessee, but I've surely had it happen.

I can speak only for Canada Post. I've had parcels come in from China and take six weeks to arrive on Canadian soil. Then Canada Border Service Agency screws around with it for two weeks. Then they hand it over to Canada Post in Vancouver. The package makes the 3000 mile journey across Cansda and is at my door in 2 - 3 days. The postal service is the only ones doing their job with due diligence.
