I'd be interested in following your build progress.
I did high reliability soldering back in the day and have been wanting a mod that has what I want/need.
Might be easier to just build it than wait for it to come on the market.

My progress is done, I bought what I need and sent it to a professional to put together in Louisiana, when you are messing with a 3s Lipo 2250mah 100 c lipo there is no room for wiring errors.. and the board is $15.00 I can't fry (3) or (4) boards attempting.....

I want top soldering and security, better have an electrician do it.....

A DNA 250 I can do but not a smart pwm.

Made one with BigAl PWM board a while back, they are well made boards I would have no problem using one again. I made my own just because I like to do that and know exactly what is in them - if you use a 556 (dual 555) you can also limit the button press to 'x' seconds so it can't be firing non stop on it's own. Like you I don't treat my stuff like jewellery or fashion - I abuse the hell out of it so I built them like tanks. I can also recommend 'Source' 510 connectors which I think are from Voltrove, they are the shit and they do a 30mm.

This is my PWM circuit - cheap with a single 555 - 300m represents the atomiser coil so thats for your 510 - LED resistor needs to match the LED you choose, I chose a bright blue one. Which diode and N-Mosfet you choose is just to your preference, I just picked whatever diode I had most of and a STP200N3LL - the switch doesn't carry much current so just about any switch will do even tac switches - it's also worthwhile having a SPDT in series with it so you can close off the gate switching circuit. This runs at 100hz so its quiet and the gate capacitance is not a factor for the FET - it is capable of switching very much faster. My choice of mosfet means I had to mount it to the metal box for heat sinking, that means I can use the box as the 510 neg so saves a wire anyway.

Some have no idea how constant of a good vape you get with a pwm.... It pulsates for a reason !!!!!

We know why it does the helicopter pulse sound and feel..... By stopping every millisecond and continuing it maintains the power equal through the vape..... Results are thick clouds, I mean thick...... Without the excessive power loss.....

A pwm is a good vape !!!!!!!

Have you used a Varitube V4 ? It's a source 510 but they are made by the same guy that makes Varitube and Fat Daddy..... It's self adjusting and juice proof. .... Even if juice travels in the 510 it doesn't go in the spring mechanism..... They are pretty bad ass 510's.....

I have some varitube V2 510s, I prefer the Source ones - Source has a big enough dimple for 12 gauge wire and the 510 pin is one solid piece. Varitube ones have screw and thread halves of the 510 which make it a pain to solder in a satisfactory way- no centre hole for the +ve lead to drop in at all.

Just ordered it! Cannot wait. Maybe I can dust off the Plus and give it another go. I really hate the postless deck. I either got flooding/leaking or dry hits no matter what coils or wicking method I tried. Not a fan at all so far. Hoping the velocity deck will bring it to life!

Happy Vaping!

It is a pain to get a hang of it.... I wicked mine (3) times a day for several days until I found the right balance of thickness and leg lenght to Wick fast enough to keep up with the juice flow wide open......

Well vaped 2 tanks through this now and gotta say , its one smooth vape,
Can be very wide open huge clouds or shut down and hot vape either way very Flavourful and not one droplet through airflow , so great results so far 5ml and slightly smaller than Original Supreme. It's definitely a Keeper , had it in coat pocket on its side ,jfc open airflow open and still no leaks after 4mile walk, so good result

Well I finally got my hands on one of these beasts today. Got it in black and I gotta say I'm loving this monstrosity of a RTA. Got the full kit with the 5 and 20ml glasses. Totally worth the money. I can't recommend this tank highly enough. Well built cloud chucking flavor machine. And it holds up all day at 120 watts with a 7 wrap 3.5 mm ID fused claptons ran in dual coil. If you are on the fence about this tank buy it.

Ok. I now have the velocity deck and so far it now has made me happy with the Plus. Time will tell as I just started using it 15 minutes ago but so far I am liking it. Coils I am using are fused claptons 26ga N80 cores with 38ga 316 SS Wrap. 7 wraps around 3.5mm screwdriver. Reading 0.26 ohms on my DNA200. Flavor and vape quality is good. So far it is not leaking, but we will see. Also, when I last used the postless deck, it started shorting out on me showing 0 ohms. I will probably throw that deck away. I like the velocity deck much better. I will post pictures and more thoughts at a later time.

Happy Vaping!

New Velocity Deck!

I say it in the video, but I am mumbling so here are the specs on the coils

Fused Claptons - 24ga Nichrome80 cores (x2) and 38ga 316 SS Wrap. 5 wraps around a 3.5mm screwdriver. About 0.11ohms. Vaping at 110 watts.

Sorry, I am waiting for the video to upload to youtube. Damn internet is snail speed for uploads. Will post tomorrow.

Happy Vaping!

I am definitely interested in the velocity deck, the postless deck is good but u can't fit very many wraps on it. I tried a 5 wrap staple staggered fused coil and it wouldn't fit....I could have probably bent the legs and forced it but I hate doing that because of the hot spots and the airflow restriction it creates. It's been my experience that with a postless deck it's not worth the trouble of trying to force a coil to fit.

So, does the velocity deck have the single 'well' for the wick ends to go into? Or, are they separate like most? Can't tell from the drawing Steam Crave has on their site.

Thanks, ordering!

Your Welcome!

Thanks @Chainvapor , also ordered me 3 of the velocity decks.....like that deck style better than the postless ones...

Your Welcome!

Definitely loving the Velocity deck on this Aromamizer Plus. HATED the postless deck and I am glad to say that sucker will be going in the garbage. I have no doubt you will both love the Velocity deck.

I ordered mine from Subtank Supply. First, I like them, great service, quick to discuss anything with you. The price seems way high, but no shipping, so for 2 it was like $4 more over Steam Crave. I know when they will ship and how long they will take to arrive.

I'll be happy to get them I'm sure. Haven't had a problem with the postless, just like velocity better.

I didn't know STS had the V-Deck's for the Plus, I would have tossed one in with my Supreme V2 order. :(

Day 5 all day carry for mine. On my 2nd build and 4th wick job. The only leaking so far was my first build on it when I didn't use near enough cotton so it poured as soon as I opened the juice flow. There have been 0 leaking or dry hit issues since. Even pocket carrying wide open on its side and not even a dribble of juice. Excellent tank.

I don't know the sizes, but Steam Crave sells complete spares kits quite cheap.
http://shop.steamcrave.com/spareparts3_p0958.html
Thanks. But I had an order ready for o-ings from the oring store for my boreas tank and I wanted to tack on o-rings for the plus as it would be cheaper and more effcient on shipping. But since I couldn't find the sizes anywhere that will be what I have to do. Not too bad since I want to buy spare glasses anyways

Well sence I'm here and I've grabbed some people's attention...I am currently awaiting the plus to arrive in the mail. I hope I have the updated version and I'm sure it is because subtanksupply had to order more. How does everyone feel about the plus now that it has been some time since release? Any pointers I should know before diving head first into this tank?

I have this RTA and I LOVE it....you made a good choice. As for a pointer, when wicking I comb out my cotton with this tank quite a bit to make sure I can run at higher wattage without dry hits. Also bigger diameter coils....like 3-3.5mm ID seem to fill the chamber really well and produce great flavor. Hope you enjoy it when you get it.

i tried a couple smaller builds in it at first and wasnt impressed. i put in a pair of 4mm 6 wrap 28 gauge aliens in it and its one of my favorite tanks ever. im using it on a hammer of god v3 at ~8v/235w. no dry hits, leaking or anything but great flavor and clouds.

Well I received the tank and it's pretty awesome. Was a bit let down by the deck thought it would be bigger but since it's postless I have plenty of room. Gotta play with the wicking a bit. I think I have too much cotton for the juice port. Running 3.5mm coils in her now. Quite it bit different than my boreas that I was using.
