iStick/T3 combo questionsquestions

Hey guys I'm new to vaping and to the site.
I went with a eleaf/t3 setup and not sure how to get the most out of the unit. I dont wont to bore you with all the questions but what are some of the reccomended volt/watt combos for this rig? Burnt taste normal in the beginning?
I'm not scared to read so feel free to link any threads to help out.

Welcome :)

Yeah, it can give a burnt taste depending on what you use it with. You might have better results using a higher ohm coil, if that's an option. Basically, it puts out more watts/volts than it says on the display (although the amount it's over by is reduced slightly once the battery is down to 2/3 or less on the meter).

I bored everyone to death with 'scope traces and graphs on this thread: Eleaf iStick ... compact 20w box mod :D

The istick provides crap regulation, has a crap connector, and 22mm devices hang off the side. Like was mentioned, use the highest ohm coil you can get for your atty and turn the istick all the way down. If it's still giving burnt hits, you'll have to change one of the devices. Frankly, istick's are junk. Just my opinion.

I just can't understand the hype on the istick got one today it's awful. All I read about is pwm, inaccurate output, stripped 510 after a week, horrible chrome finish, terrible plastic buttons why?

I'm now running an mini nautilus on there. Running at about 14.5. The nautilus seems overhyped too. This combo feels like I'm smoking pop rocks from all the gurgling/popping.
I only can compare to $150 setups that my brothers use that feel like they produce clouds of silk. It has helped me kick my habit however. I now only vape when I'm driving or around other people smoking/vaping.

My istick has been good to me so far, just using evods and vaping at low wattage. ALWAYS with any device/tank combo start out at the lowest wattage/voltage and work it up till it's comfortable for YOU. Me personally I like to run low wattage. Yes the istick button rattles bad, I haven't had any issues with the threads as other people have said, but I've only had mine a couple weeks. Yes the output isnt regulated nearly as well as better devices, but for my needs it's perfect. Seeing a lot of people who love em & a few who don't, if you're really ocd about the button rattle and that type of thing then it's not for u. Since I drop things alot and tend to scratch everything up anyway I'm just fine with it.

The istick craze is almost over. I knew it wouldn't last.

I have 3 iSticks and haven't had a problem with them yet. I use them everyday for a month with a bella tank. I did mod them so I could change the battery.
