Unfortunately with car registrations past due, medical bills in collections, birthdays just gone by, and X-mas on the horizon, every penny I can find right now is cherished. Thankfully I have just enough room left on a Best Buy and Amazon card to make sure the wife and kids have a couple of decent gifts under the tree.

One of the real benefits of having a son with autism is actually the lack of clamoring for presents. His desires are pretty simple, but we still go overboard and wrap every tiny dollar store do dad we pick up for him just because he finally started to really enjoy unwrapping presents last year after he turned 10.

I liked it until I found out it does not control the temp it only has a temp limit switch and you have to run nickel wire that I can't afford

There is a little more to it than that...set the watts so it will reach the temp, when it hits your temp limit, it scales back the watts to maintain the temp there......so, in the pure sense, it isn't temp control but it accomplishes the same thing.

Looks like I'm getting a new mod mine got bumped of the table when it hit the floor it bent the fire button and destroyed the threads on the lock ring

OMG I actually have a shot at getting a mod that works!!!!! Also, I have been depressed about not going to Black Friday sales, but now I have something to look forward to, those sales, at those prices I just maybe able to purchase something!!! I am sorry to hear about Watch's show, but I am glad for him he is taking a break! He deserves that so much! You do too! So I hope you get some rest yourself! Thanks for keeping us all entertained around here!

@InMyImage I totally understand where you are coming from! I talked to Child support today for a long time about my situation, not sure how long it will take to get a hearing, but things will go up unless this job in S Carolina doesn't pay well. But the longer we talked, I just unloaded on this lady and she told me that my husband, current husband sounded like a hell of a man. This is the thing that got me though, they will take what my husbands insurance costs a month, divide it by the people covered and that will be a small portion my ex is responsible for. I told her what I thought that sucked about that was he was a good man that was not required to cover my oldest daughter who is in college or his oldest, but he does, which spreads that cost over 7 people. The lady said, I wish I could hold him responsible for what he pays for both of his children that your husband pays! She said it was refreshing to hear about a good dad, she spends her days dealing with ones that usually aren't. Then we got on the topic of my daughter wanting to be adopted by the father that raises her. After my husband came home from practice he said, ha know this might just force the jerk into signing the adoption papers! I love that he doesn't care about the money, even though our med bills are increasing for me, my incomes gone and right now we need the money, but he cares more about wanting to make my daughter his legally so she doesn't have to worry about the what if something happens to mom thing!

I do have to say I was able to have a great moment today! Someone on vapers.tv, mentioned they were in a bad situation and in need of juice. Over the last several months I have purchased, when I was working a bunch of juice that I didn't like, and I packed it all up and mailed it to the guy, well my kid took it and mailed it. Did I really have the extra $6 shipping, no, but it feels so very good to help others that are in need!!! I felt better about sending that box of juice out today than I have felt in a long time! Well over $100 worth, let's face it, it's been opened and I couldn't probably sell it, but was able to help someone else and that felt so good!
Lately, I have been so stressed about not being a good mom, wife and not working, missing my children! It's been rough. I feel guilty about loosing income and being responsible for more bills!

A friend did ask about donating days, and the union does not allow it anymore! Go figure, but I still have to pay their dues!

Can't win for loosing! But it felt good to help someone! I will be looking for those sales, and maybe buy a Christmas gift for myself! If it's that low! Thanks guys for all u do!

Ok, as long as you have something works right now. If you didn't I could have sent you one of our EVOD batteries because I got my wife a Vision Spinner 2 for X-mas.

I just needed to vent because I got so mad at myself I never leave my mod that close to the edge if the table my wife thinks I crazy because I clean it twice a week

Nickel wire is the same or cheaper

Good morning folks. Stopping in to say hey before the job hunt begins. Hopefully something happens soon before the depression sets in. Still trying to figure out my ZNA. Most if the time it tells me Check Atomizer or To Hot when its not even hot. I can't even vape it up on 30 watts cuz it turns off and on over and over. Getting a little frustrated. Been vaping on my King mod.

Get in touch with your Union resource officer they have a spot and set aside resources for temp disability or long term.. if you want PM the union name and I can dig something up.. a bit of something is better than fucking nothing of nothing.

Hello Everyone.

Hope you all are doing well.

I am finally able to see for more than an hour or so at a time. Damn migraines. I had to adjust amounts of my medications and that seems to work for now.

Due to the recent auction, I was able to get two mods: a Knight carbon fibre/brass and an MVP 2.0 Energy kit. I was able to give them to my roomies as combination birthday/early Christmas gifts, as I will be at my folks for most of December. I am happy to say that they are both enjoying them. All they have had are cig-a-likes which they hated. They seem to be really enjoying these. I added a Kanger Universal with the Knight and an adapter for the 4061 atomizers with the MVP, she really likes the taste of her pre-filled ones(plus as much free juice as they want.) I figure that will be fine until she figures out that the iClear 16B is better. I'm just damn glad that they are more interested in vaping, in hopes that they cut down or stop smoking.

Looking forward to the sale! Makes the gift certificate from Mod Envy stretch a bit. Now I will be able to order more juice! River Bottom Fog Sauce here I come......

Had a similar issue and @Nikkita6 told me to check the spring in the battery tube to make sure that it is putting constant pressure on the battery. When I screwed on the bottom cap, I there wasn't really any resistance at all so I stretched out the spring a little, which took a TON of effort for my Wotofo/Amod clone that I won from her, but it solved the problem and now I pay attention when I'm putting on the bottom cap to make sure that I feel a little resistance due to the spring being compressed.

As for the check atomizer, I get that too sometimes, and normally adjusting the 510 pin on the mod solves the problem. Seems like it backs in sometimes so even with the same atomizer in use all the time I have to back it out periodically.

Thankies not sure how it went, pretty chill kicked back company in a great building.
I got there hellishly early and ran into my contact there and they were impressed I got there early and had a different position in mind before I did the interview for me.
Lots of laughs on both sides informal as all hell. On my side have heard nothing but on the contacts side I got it and until I hear from HR from now till monday I am going on the view of enjoying thanksgiving.

@Damwow I got the feelers out, if there is one I got the best damned blood hound on it. Ill shoot you an IM mon or tue with the info if it can be found.

I broke turkey day... We have decided to go hiking tomorrow like my 15 miles around the downtown area was not enough... so cooking turkey tonight...
Out of olive oil so it got a coconut oil rub down on a bed of carrots and some onion with some rosemary. Honey crisp apple juice bathed, sweet Basil pink salt and pepper rub, some pear slices under the skin at the breast. Minced ginger and garlic inside with dried rosemary. Would rather do it now than tomorrow get it over with and can go hiking without worrying about torching the place.

Desert for tomorrow is off the wall and turned out AMAZING doing a yam blended with honey and greek yogurt till smooth, ginger powder and allspice with a kiss of vanilla. topped with greek yogurt and honey whipped and then frozen.

Got the dressing ready to go, Kale mushroom and roast garlic dressing for mom, sausage and roast garlic for me.
Roasted carrots and brussels, steamed kale with key lime dressing.

I can not tell you how much I appreciate that! On a good note, I am thankful this year to be a vaper! I am thankful to have all of you that listen when I need to unload, I really try to remain as positive as possible at home due to the financial stress on my hubby right now, and my poor kids, especially the 16 year old that is petrified of being ripped away from the man she considers to be dad, should anything happen to me!
I did get a moment to feel very very good! I was able to help a man that had posted on Vapers.tv that he had purchased a pack of stinkies because he could not afford ejuice, I sent him over $100 worth of juices I have purchased and did not care for over the last few months. My daughter got them mailed out and my mom says to me, that is wonderful of you sweetheart, but what about the shipping, let me pay it, I know you are pinching every penny you have. I told her that that $6.00 in shipping to someone in need made me feel better than I have felt in months!!!!!! It felt great to talk to him today and find out the package had arrived and he was thrilled! He shouldn't have to worry about juice for a long time! I got the PIF box in the mail today. Not much I can use in there, but it feels great knowing I will have a place to send off the other stuff that I have and am not using.

This Thanksgiving I am also very grateful that it is not my children or my family with whatever it is that I have. I have been putting off that yucky 24 hour urine test and more blood work that has to be done this week, so I guess I will do it Friday, take it to the Hosp on Sat and let them poke me again! But I wanted to wish everyone a very Blessed and safe holiday! And while I may be whining alot lately, God forgive me, if you only knew me in person you would be shocked! I am very Thankful that I have a healthy family and friends like all of you! Now I am going to try once again to get some sleep! I hate these restless nights!

I am thankful 3 years ago the eve of thanksgiving mom got the cancer news. The reason I am thankful about that is it saved her life.
This is the first year it is just us and glad to have given her so many food options and did the turkey early as a hoorah cause fuck cancer.

We already have set phasers to pillage and put a hurt on part of the grubtastic turkey. I did a apple cider, roast garlic and coffee gravy that seriously shocked her and stunned me it turned out as smooth and tasty as it did.
So our game plan is wake up when we wake up,eat when we want, drink spiced tea and cider.. hike eat some more and just be glutenous.
