Yeah and while your at why don't you guys comment on the Asmodus BS .

Another option is to tell Asmodus to bill your company for the shipping back and forth to their facility instead of Asmodus reneging on a promised in writing warranty for all the first time buyers of the device .

Its the fair thing to do and the right thing to do.

Fair and right don't seem to be concerns of theirs regarding warranties.. which is why they won't get my business.

P4Y is working on releasing an IPV 26650 version...than they will release the 500w chip than release the 60w heat protected chip...

Are you serious about the 500W chip? o_O

Welcome Ethan. Glad you made it here.
Do us a favor and an address the rumor about the ipv3 recall claim.
Thanks . The reason is that liberty flights said the connector between spring and box melted. However the fact is the silica gel on the connector. we have tested, the box temperature will be not beyond 60.C .
These are pic beofre silica gel and after silica gel.

Check out what Green Leaf is up to these days .. received an email this morning from my boo Blook at P4U and the they have a new IPV Mini 30W that is presently on pre-order. The email didn't mention anything about release dates or prices, but I was given specs and promo photos.

Should Eleaf be worried? The only aspect of these specs that I am giving is the side eye is the Yihi SX-130 chip this claims to have. There is no such chip listed on Yihiecigar.com, and as per Cari from Yihi if the chip is not listed in their product catalog then it is not their chip.

So what are you saying that we can go ahead and gel our box and you will still warranty it? I dont care about the warranty I already fixed the issue Just in case but for others does everyone have to send their IPV V3 in for repair?

Yes well it does say "in stock". :D

Just to clarify this part of the conversation...

Online sales cart software typically won't allow sales of items that are not listed as "in stock" ... so to presale the item, they must list it as having stock. The most common method used is for the company to input the number of units they have purchased ( presale or otherwise ) as the amount of stock they have. It's a clumsy method but effective to allow presales this way.

Notice the grin? It was tongue in cheek that they would have plenty at that price. Not that they were actually in stock.

Ya, I agree with that .. the buttons are probably my least favorite aspect of the device. I do like the overall body shape, and the 510 connection though.

I wish the video had shown the device instead of clouds of vapor. I wanted to see the width. Looks like it's about another half-inch wider than the iStick? And 3/4 inch longer. I love the iStick but would really like one that takes 18500 batts.

According to the dimensions listed its thinner and not as wide as the rDNA. But is half an inch taller. I preordered it at vapor range, can't wait to get my hands on it:)

At least it has a good chip in it , not widely known or tested yet by the masses but it's a YiHi and i have more confidence in those than other no name models and clones.

Just a shame it's so big. Mini to me means istick or VsDNA30. It should mean "stealth", easy to carry around and fit in the hand. Take a measuring tape out and work out the dimensions against the istick or rdna. This thing is pretty large. Having said that, it's good to see 30w devices that are an original product which don't cost and arm an leg.

I am surprised that the mini is bigger than something like the Zero Modz which is 10mm shorter, but about the same width. Still looking forward to it though, and this reminds me that I need send Blook/IPV a skype and ask when this baby is shipping. :)

Perfect size. The Istick size is good for little atomizers, and that is a non-sense.

Looks like vapenw.com has at least got them on pre-sale for $59.99 and their webpage says that the silver is already in ( 12/03/2014 ) http://vapenw.com/new-arrivals/ipv-mini

This probably true because P4U told me last week that the silver was ready .. I am expecting mine to be delivered tomorrow, so excited. :)

Almost all built in USB port chargers are rated at 500mah...

Is there any update about the auto-fire issue with "mobile charging" mode? Will there be a recall or USB update available to the chip to turn this mode off completely? This is a very scary problem that is likely to happen to many people. I hope P4Y is ahead of the game on this issue, since it's now hitting the market and vapors hands.

Thank you for starting this thread Nikkita. I don't think that this will be a device to necessarily replace my i Sticks but it will definitely make a good addition to my present arsenal of gear. It's a beauty, small and portable with more than enough power to suit my needs. Reliable SX 130 Chip, 30 watts of power is plenty, max 8 Volt output, being able to sub ohm down to .5 all the way up to 3 ohms, 13 Amp output, replaceable 18650 battery option and chic appearance. Looks great. Pioneer4U took notice of everything that made the i Stick great and designed their own prototype. It's larger than the i Stick but not much when you consider incorporating their own design features and battery bay. They even included a floating pin to secure connection for toppers and a touch fire button. All you need is a few good high drain batteries and you're good to go. I think $55-65 price range for this device is more than fair and a good deal. Will be getting one for sure and use along with my i Sticks. Real nice colors too. Happy Holidays.

94mm x 40mm x 23mm. IPV
75mm x 32.8mm x 21mm I Stick

Still small with only minimal size differential. Lovely Teal/Light Blue.

I went ahead and ordered a iPV mini last night....couldn't have been a half an hour later and I was vaping my iPV1 with a Nautilus on it when I smelled what seemed like melting wires...a strong nasty smell....I quickly removed the cover of the iPV1 and a small amount of smoke rolled out...I popped the battery out...the battery was undamaged...it came from the top right of mod to the right of the battery contact when you cant see the circuitry...I have it sitting here in a USPS Priority shipping box with all the required warranty paperwork in the box ready to go to the post office and on to Asmodus....I already paid the 8 dollar fee they require, which is bullshit....it should be free....I hope I dont get a hassle about getting it repaired...it would really make me regret ordering the mini....and that would be the end of me ordering any more products that they handle warranties for....

Yikes Spike, I'm sorry to hear that, but glad you've not sustained any injuries due to this "malfunction". It is frustrating to ponder that these devices are not perfect or even predictable 100% of the time. But I do hope that Asmodus does you right by fixing what went wrong, and quickly at that. Please give us updates about the repair if you remember. Happy Holidays regardless. :)

Maybe they didn't use 16 gauge wiring like they should be?

Could be...but the weird thing is that I was just puffing on a Nautilus on it at lower wattage and all of a sudden that nasty burnt wire smell and a puff of smoke...thing ran just fine for a few months at higher wattages using my drippers....

Got it a couple of days ago and I must admit that I like it allot. Nice little device, does not feel cheap at all. Only problem I have is the ohms reader , the display shows 0.1 to 0.2 below what the actual resistance is, next firmware update should clear it up I guess. I have to say that it still does fire my Atlantis and it reads 0.4 ... Also, the low voltage protection kicks in a bit to low IMO, I would of liked to see it at 3.5 volts but it's 3.2 volts.

My SX Mini is stuck at customs, but in the next few days I should get it and be able to compare both SX130 and SX350.

Aside those 2 things, I really like it, here is a couple of pics with different setups.
