I know how to address them, I believe I just did.
You addressed them by dropping the mod into a drawer.......you know exactly what I meant...

Busardo spoke of the issues and gave it a thumbs down...but he addressed the issues and loves the mod regardless...

While I have heard lots of good things as well as a few not so good, I am very happy indeed that you and so many others love the Istick. Especially at the +/- $30 price point.

Is it the best mod ever? I think not.

I love my new Siggy 100 watt.

Is it the best mod ever? I think not.

I also dig my Dovepo E-MECH

Is it the best mod ever? I think not.

I can keep this up as I look over the ranks mods in my possession.

And just as soon as the "Best Mod Ever" is invented and produced, most likely I will purchase one.

Then at last it will be outdated as well.

And the cycle repeats itself as it has in the past,

For now the best mod ever is what you have in your/my grubby hands that works for you/me.

Time for my midday meds now!

Just got 2 isticks couple of days ago. Am going to mexico for a couple weeks and wanted something compact for the wife and I. I find them to be great value for the money. Watched phils video and many other prior to buying. Bottom line is as long as I can adjust it to my taste I couldn't care less what the screen says. Only complaint I have is I can't find any tanks with enough airflow to suit me that aren't 22mm or larger and look stupid on it. Bought a couple of naut mini's but coil restricts flow to much for me. I bought a taifun GS from fasttech about 6 months ago and find it gives a good mouth to lung for me but looked to goofy on my mechs or box mods. Been sitting in a drawer ever since. Tried it on the istick and I can definately live with this while on vac. Murphys law strikes again... Went to fasttech to order a couple more ... Don't carry them anymore. Anybody know of a 20mm or less tank with open airflow?

I'm saving the god worship stuff for the god 180 I've got sitting in customs. But only if I get 2 full days of vape at 30-35 watts !!!

Found a site that has the taifun GS so I ordered a couple of them for the ISticks. Next day I'm chatting with a guy from work. Asked him how he could handle the nautilus mini sucking his brain in on every draw. He says it has a great draw. Let me try it I said. He did. Draw was decent. Came home tonight and stuck a needle down the center of the coil. Lo and Behold decent draw. Musta been some wicking material covering the airway. So now I'll have 5 tanks and 1 atomic rda for my Isticks. Mini's for the wife and GS's and rda for me. Now I'm ready for vacation. Time for the wife to do her share and pack everything while I continue Testing !!! LOL

The Joyetech Delta 19. I've got one and love it. Heads are expensive, but it rocks: https://us.joyetech.com/atomizer/delta-atomizer-parts/delta-19-atomizer.html

I've been using my GS on it with nice results. I love the GS but it looks awkward on most things and up till now had been regulated to the Hammer. It looks pretty good on the Istick.

Thanks I never thought of using the GS on my hammer. Always use the AIOS on it. But now I gotta try that.

Pretty close, I do direct lung hits with it wide open, but it's a matter of preference. It's not wide open like a RDA, but sufficient in my mind.

My second I stick has issues with my Kanger mega tanks without the adapter that comes with it. What's interesting is my first one runs any tank I put on it. Back to the second one it comes with one adapter and no beauty Ring without that it looks funny. I still love these little i stick . I have been forced to deal with the mean settings lol P B says 8 watts means 12 watts RMS thats a big difference . I still really like these

So the istick does step down! It just takes a very expensive scope to prove it.

Arrgh! He thinks average voltage is the same as RMS voltage... it isn't!

The reported "issue" wasn't that it didn't step down... it was that it displayed the output by showing an average voltage instead of the RMS output... With a PWM device like the iStick... if they had used RMS the output would "feel" more equivalant to a DC output at the same value... instead using average it "feels" higher

But yet it still steps down.

Well, not really. Heating is proportional to power, which is proportional to RMS voltage. In almost all circumstances it does not reduce its RMS output to below battery voltage at all, in fact it's usually higher. And what @rdsok just said :)

A quick follow up to the Eleaf iStick. After reading some viewer comments about the voltage step down I realized some people wanted to see the oscilloscope readings. I show the scope and meter data and try to explain how the iStick does step down.

Did you read the comments as well Wally? When questioned about Vavg (mean) and Vrms (RMS) he replied "PBusardo put up his review on his site and goes into more detail. You are correct in that it is Vavg not RMS. So the iStick is about 1 volt over the setting at lower outputs with a longer duty cycle."
Watch the Pbusardo review for someone who knows a little more about using the scope - as this reviewer said in the video "there's nobody better at doin' that kind of stuff".

I know what he said, but he's missed the point, and misled you :)

My analysis of it, with lots of 'scope traces and graphs, is here: Eleaf iStick thread.

Just got one in Violet for Black Friday so excited it seems perfect for my needs. I see the pink and now the Violet so I'm thinking the purple maybe is "newer" than the others. Or has there always been a violet because this is my favorite shade :)

Either way I'm stoked for it.

Violet must be a new color where did you see this I would like to order a couple more?

Dang I got lucky sad to hear. But at that price I didn't think they would last too long. I did think the Violet was in stock when I checked this am. Well that was quick.

I don't believe that is violet... I think that is the one they originally called red and others have called pink.

I can photoshop you a couple of new colors though... :D

... again, these aren't real... they are faked colors I did as a joke on a vendor thread in another forum

My sig others a graphic artist I should know better. :p

I'll find out if I'm colour blind when it arrives....

Every site says pink/red except this one where I got it the colour was Violet hmm

I guess they know some ladies are a sucker for anything purple. Lol

Got a email from Central Vapors saying they run out. Said they had the wrong price on them anyway. Said they would honor the $29 price (paid $21.48 shipped with coupon) or take the refund. I took the refund. Said when they come back in they would be $40 - $50. They were nice about it though.

I hear lots of places f up things this year. I guess this is just the start for me. One place charged me 3 times for my order. Dropped a bunch on vape stuff this weekend I hope I at least get half of it.

damn, I would have had you keep it and ship it to me, I was trying to get another one the same price, they said no go, so I'm just waiting for them to come back into stock.

A very small powerful mod.

One of my favorite box mods I've ever used!
A 20W capability squished into this little thing I love it, and for the price (34-55$) it's definitely worth a pick-up.

Just using a kanger protank 3 with a coil at 1.5 and the vapor production is respectable.
