I am not new to vaping whatsoever, but I don't have much experience with building my own coil set ups because I've been vaping almost strictly sub ohm for the longest time.
I recently bought the limitless Lux (a power engine that holds 2 26650 batteries)
I was looking for some information on which RDA I should look into, I had the skyhook RDTA which leaked, so I changed it to the RDA set up and just was not liking it. Also which type of wire and if the brand of cotton I buy will affect the output of vapor. Thank you

To make Big clouds you need to make the biggest coil/build you can feed the most power to and generate the most heat the fastest and airflow enough to Move air over the coils to generate vapor.. Generally using 100% VG juice. Type of wire really doesn't matter except to the extent it gets you to where you want to go. Brand of cotton doesn't matter either.... i find good old cotton balls work as good as any fancy cotton.

Steam-engine.org will help model some builds help you get where you want to be.

A friend of mine told me the higher the gauge wire the better, which makes sense to me as it will be able to withstand more heat.

Also any suggestions on a type of RDA?

Take a look at this example. 24ga kanthal, dual parallel coil (basically a quad coil) on a 3.0mm id core. This gives you a total of 20 wraps surface area.
When you wick the coil make absolutely sure that none of your cotton is blocking any air flow pipes.
You will want an RDA with a huge amount of airflow. Something like MutationX V4 or V5 with 18 air holes in the chamber. (9 per side) since cloud coils run HOT. Note the heat flux.. 500mw/mm2. You will also want a large bore drip tip to maximize airflow and decrease inhale time.
I tailored that build to work with the 215W power your mod can produce. You will want to drip before every pull as well. Cloud coils burn juice fast.
OR you can make us a video.. "How many times can I hit this coil before repainting the wick"

** Lower gauge wire is thicker, less resistance and more surface area than higher ga wire, but remember you also have to take your mods wattage output into consideration **

I ended up buying the velocity v2 rda today (almost got the mutation x v4 instead but decided on the velocity because of the amount of airflow the velocity gets.. WOW!) And am running it with dual 6 wrap 22g wire and I'm loving it..... #Cloudz4Dayz

I'm using a mech so not going to go into details on build.
