Popping in real quick to tend to some feedback & thought I'd say hello.
Very quiet in here now? ...seems like @snake94115 has channeled the bonkers of all of us put together (derp!)
Nothing new & squonky for me, kinda switched gears for more travel-friendly rigs with my trip coming up. My BilletBox should be here tomorrow and I went a little Vaponaute crazy.

Going to pop Arctic Fox on these bad boys when I have the time. Battery life on La Petite Box is incredible. Also forgot how awesome the Herakles Nano's are with the isolated tank piece, a great feeling to just pop in a coil with the tank still full of juice and voila. A bit different from my 'juice everywhere' squonk tendencies. Funny I was just resigned to that habit.
Welp...time to eat, sleep, work tomorrow, rinse, repeat, yadda yadda...

Saw that yesterday, looking nice. Amazing how fast you progressed in coils in such a short time... hate to see the investment in wire...can only imagine its eclipsed $200 already.

Buying 1000' rolls like crazy I bet.

After the wife leaves today to visit her sister ( Just had a baby ) I'm probably going to burn through the remainder of wire I have on hand... just a prep day really..

make all my cores, glued taped and then put into a bin. Do a bunch of decores also and put them in envelopes.

Yeah I know man thanks, it just kinda all clicked one day. I mean I'm no expert obviously but all kinds of builds I couldn't do before just kinda started working for me after I got the Alien. You were very helpful in that process for sure.
I'm not positive how much I spent learning but fortunately for me I already had a good amount anyways lol when I first started using rda's I bought all kinds of different wire kits and shit. Later kinda figured out that I don't like kanthal and a good amount of the SS ohms out a little to high. So I had a good amount of practice wire. Not saying I haven't spent a lot because I have! Lol and I'm still spending....

Hussar rda v1.0 not a review, just my observations so far

Comes in a nice little wooden container and the base doubles as an atty stand:

It's very compact and the cap is seriously reduced:

That little bowtie cutout actually fits down over your coil from topside. The deck itself has horizontal squonk flow from underneath where you tuck the wicks down a bit. Not bad to build on but if your going to use alien or claptons, that cutout in the bowtie is 8.5mm wide. Be sure to check the rda for shorts with the cap on after you build. Also I'm not sure how much of a bitch those mounting screws would be on the wider wire.

I went with 24g n80, 2.5mm, 6 wraps.

Airflow is restricted and smooth, not supersonic smooth but ok. I'd say maybe 1/2 to 2/3 the size of the haku at wide open(?) No whistle at wide open but when I close it down a bit, I get slight whistle. Sort of like the phenom bugaboo but in reverse.

Likes, dislikes. I love the flavor, the restricted flow, fairly easy to build on, nice build quality. Also the two smaller cutouts in the underside of the topcap act as a stop so you can adjust your airflow without the cap spinning too far, similar to the dead rabbit sq.
I dislike not be able to peer down in the top and watch the juice flow as I squonk. That's my biggest gripe personally. You can't see it since it's off to the sides and hidden... if you squonk too long, it will seep up onto the platform where the coil and air channels are. It could be a leaker unless you really test with cap off and get a feel for your squonk timing or use a more transparent cap.

Lastly, she's definitely a looker in stainless:

Same here, joined two more last night (thanks @Proatype ) so I could have three chances at the krma rda. Yeah, I know but I got randomized out on "the one" so that gave me some breathing room.

I got Concorde APB's out everywhere but not tripping about it... I'm accustomed the Vaponaute hunt all to well.
Tried for 4 years steady for Le Jumbo Jet.
It was only when I stopped aggressively looking did it come up. With Le Zephyr too. At an incredible price ; )
(Edit: more like 3 years but feels like 15!)
I'm well content with Le Supersonic.
Annnnd this Billet Box is soothing the savage beast!

Renewed love affair with the Pico squeeze :) my O-Atty it's quite happy here for now.

I'm back with my Hadaly... It's a love hate thing but right now loving the NN slam cap v2 on it!

Le Supersonic... Wow. Nice. I've got the Kira ~2mm tip on here. Where can i find a non metal cap for this???

Hussar rda. Very cool. Great flavor. Looks great with clear slam cap! Making my old reliable O-Atty jealous...

And finally Narda. What a lovely tune she whistles :) I'll spend more time with her once i can score a slam cap (fyi... The Hussar slam cap does fit very close. Holding out for actual Narda cap though :) )
