So I saw something that said if you heat your vape up to 450 Fahrenheit , it releases chemicals and no it’s not a fake study or anything. Now i’m worried to hit my vape , thinking I over heat it everyone I chain vape.

Please provide a link - just because something has chemicals does not means its unsafe - even organic fruits and vegetables contain chemicals

Maybe if you keep forcing yourself to vape on dry cotton.

No it is not, look at the study I posted

This study is total garage science because if you look at some the "test" equipment it looks like 99¢ store plastic and made by a 6 year old. On that forum you can't even disagree or the moderators will remove your posts. If you read his equipment was affected by a new asphalt driveway so how accurate can it be?

OK, as an official VU Mod (BTW, the title and 25 cents will get me a down payment on a cup of fancy assed coffee).I pronounce judgment based on my real life tech experience.

The device on the right is made by Mettler Toledo (spelling might be off) and their main gig is to measure weight from a feather fart to your multi-ton Mrs.

The thing in the middle looks to be a plastic multi-use jar (AKA Peanuts and the like) with a couple of cheap plastic "Thingies" (Technical term) inside with a cheap plastic syringe (just like I get from my local pharmacy to measure my Nic with for my DIY) stuck in the top for good measure.

The thing on the right is a digital temp gauge plain and simple. It is measuring the temp in the peanut jar at a precise 71.3 F

And if that assembly was made by a 6-year-old, hire him or her at once!

The original picture of the setup was on his dining room table and it is fancied up since my comment was deleted on that forum. Can't argue with the Butt Buddies of Moderators.

If vaping scares you and you think it’s hazardous to your health, why would you still do it? Also, if you have a study done by scientists that you believe to be true, why are you coming to random people on the Internet for a second opinion? Do your parents know that you vape?

Butt Buddies is just about all they have these days.
Most certainly they don't have any credibility!

That "study" is such a farce and here is the kind of damage it can do where this member was scared by it. And @choderfett described it more in the way it should be called a discussion. I wonder if where he posted his new driveway affected his test equipment is still there? Possibly some carcinogens is coming from the plastic or the wall board from china?

Note: the scale reads negative.. probably tared without the juice..

Well the syringe is to pull air but I think new born babies have a larger lung capacity. Maybe it is reading how much liquid was vaporized? :wait::crazy:

Why do you think there is a scale there? To make it look more scientific! I wonder what the stapler is for? Make the results more binding?

Vaping has been shown to be FAR safer than smoking.
But vaping is not totally risk free.
Vaping is a good very reduced risk substitute to smoking.
But for a more reduced risk neither vape nor smoke.

If you were a smoker and now vape and NOW you worry about risks of inhaling things into your lungs?
Just kinda silly to me.

Just posted my thoughts (over there), after actually testing temperatures of wicked-juiced coils using a high-dollar thermal imaging camera I use everyday for my business.

Trust me when I tell you this.
You WILL taste formaldehyde and acetaldehyde long before it reaches the levels of a cigarette.

So as long as it doesn't taste like burning when you vape you are good to go.

I am curious what your results were and how it was received. Mind sharing your results @inspects ?

This is bullshit. Everything is bad for you nowadays. They even say coffee can cause you cancer so to be honest I wouldn't worry
