Definitely situational.
I clean all my tanks whenever I take it out of circulation. For me its just the process if I know I'm wont be using it for a while, I don't like to leave it dirty cause when I eventually put it back in circulation, I'd want to work with a clean tank. Worst yet I would dread to pull it out one day and it leaked everywhere.

...then again I currently only have 3 tanks total and my circulation consists of only two. Couple more should be coming in tomm and the day after tho!

I think I'm about 50/50... sometimes I'll go looking for one of my atties and discover it never got cleaned after its last use, however long ago.... but any that actually get put away, those are always cleaned first, or I wouldn't put them away in their drawer. I've got a lot more than 2-3, but only about 2-3 that I actually use anymore. :D

In order to “set the record straight” one would have to go back and read everything that was involved in that portion of the thread to have a full understanding of the events. It would be nice if we could just keep this a drama free thread. Please.

Yes, he loves it!! He'll probably get some more of those, because the STM that he also loves is giving him problems; very often gets the "check atomizer" or 'atomizer short' msg from whatever mod he's using, no matter how often he rebuilds the coil. And the new RBA heads for STM have too-small airholes for him. But he likes that OBS nano a LOT!!!

Good to hear. They are no longer in production. Tell him to order a couple more from FT. They go on sale occasionally there or put in cart and wait for a 10% off sale. I have 6 or 7 and will get a couple more. Honestly don't know why I bother ordering anything else, always end up with all Nanos in my rotation eventually.

Thing is with the Nanos, the chimney is press fit so if there is an o-ring up there you cannot replace it. Honestly doubt there s an o-ring but why take chances. Have yet to have a problem with any of them, did order extra grub screws for them as backups and will probably order a 3 extra glass tubes as well. Haven't broken any glass yet so really don't need them. In a few years I will be lamenting the scarcity of the Nano like you and the Achilles. We can start our own bitching and just plain pissed thread.

Yeah my son was completely bumfuzzled at first with that press-fit... but after discovering that it's not actually meant to come apart, he was all "well, ok!" :D

I still talk to my husband about starting to acquire metal-working tools, and he's in favor, but besides the money needed to buy those tools, he would need a MUCH bigger garage. :D But if we can ever get a big enough workspace for him, he can probably create some Achilles-clone-clones for me. :D He's a handy lil devil. :)

I truly am! He and I both got this ungodly flu, but thx to his VA coverage, he was able to get tamiflu... so he really stepped up and basically did EVERYTHING I would normally do, while i was moaning on the couch for 2 wks. I'm back to maybe 90% now, so at this point we're kinda sharing the dishes/dinner/lunchmaking/kitchen-cleaning chores. My marriage to him is easily the best 30 yrs of my entire life.

I took it a few steps further. As soon as game 7 of the World Series ended I disconnected the cable from the TV and said " see you in spring ". Have not watched cable TV since. March 29th around 11:00 am is when the cable will be reconnected again. :)

The flu this year has been a killer! So far DH has not caught it (knocks on wood). I had it for two weeks or something like it. I'm in the same 30 plus club. Been married since 87.He has never said anything about what vape stuff I order. He does raise a eyebrow when he looks at my flavoring table.

I got the flu in SEPTEMBER. Good thing, cause my whole family got it last month, and I was fine. :rolleyes:

I try to send off vape stuff (pif) clean. Sometimes, it does have a slight odor no matter what I use for cleaning. At least its not soaking with fluid.

Yikes! You had it early! When I had it I disinfected everything I touched so the others wouldn't get my germs.

Yeah, I did read back quite a bit in that thread over there, seeing a mod peek in and say "HEY GUYS THESE ARE THE RULES HEY I'M A MOD LOOK AT ME" is really distracting from discussion. Kinda creepy really. Moderation overboard.

We married in 87 too! And we knew it was pure kismet when we looked at this house, loved it.. and then discovered it had been built in 87! Like it was just sitting here waiting for us. :D The only thing he's ever said to me about vaping is "why haven't you ordered it yet?!?" He was so absolutely amazed and delighted that I was finally able to find a way to quit smoking -- he never anticipated that at all!

My son told me last night than the "A strain" which I think is what we had, is slowing down some... but that the "B strain," which seems to include a lot of gastro effects, is really picking up... so after maybe another week's recuperation, I may go ahead and get that damn flu shot, because I have been sick MORE THAN ENOUGH already!!!! I think my husband and I had the H3N2 variety, which wasn't well-covered by the flu shot this year anyway, even if we'd gotten it; our son did get the flu shot, and he was here with us when we were both terribly ill, but all he got was a few sniffles and a scratchy throat, so the flu shot was at least partly effective.

Yes it has ( the flu ). I'm the type that rarely gets sick but someone else brought home about five weeks ago and now I've been fighting it for almost three.

My lady gives me that same look with her eye when she looks and sees six mods with juices happily waiting to be vaped. She's a good sport about it and encourages me to continue playing with my mods. For me, the only thing worse than idle hands is an idle mind.

I'll be okay and the flu is partly my fault. If I stick with my tree hugging diet I feel much better but if I eat the wrong thing, total relapse. A few days ago I nuked some frozen Jack Daniels pulled pork and ate the whole thing. An hour later I felt like death warmed over. Just can't handle the processed foods any more.

Yeah, the lil woman is awesome. She knows how much I miss playing under the hood of cars so she encourages to build as much as possible, spend all the time I need on VU and to get into building my own wire.

I'm that way too; apparently there was a real bad flu in 2009, and 2014... and I never even knew about either; last flu I had was Jan 1997. So I think it had just been long enough that it had mutated past the point that any of my antibodies could recognize it. Ditto all that for my husband; he was more surprised than anyone when his temp shot up to 104F!
