RTA on single vs dual difference

Good morning,

Earlier this week I got the Zeus single coil rta (my first rta, not my first rebuildable) I ran it on my uwell Nunchaku (single 18650 with a 3mm coil at .27ohms) and was not happy with it. It was extremely spitty, inconsistent, and just felt underpowered no matter what I ran it at.

I decided to rebuild it at 0.45 and it pretty much cleared up the spitting. However I still had to run it hotter than I like my vape.

I put it on another single 18650 mod and it was the same situation.

Today I threw the rta on a dual battery sigelei using the same 0.45 build. I’m running it 15-20watts lower than I was on the single battery mods and it Vapes like a dream.

Why would this be?

I bought it specifically for the single battery mod so it would kind of blow if it’s not gonna vape well.

Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

What batteries are you using? If the vape is good on a dual battery mod but shit on a single it sounds like the single battery is under powered. Knowing the battery manufacturer and the model would help alot. :)

Try different size or grade of wire..... Steam-engine.org will help.... By the sound of your result..... I would try to match the surface area and mass of the .45 coil with the heat of the .27 @ your desired vaping wattage.
