What to expect ordering from foreign vendors?

Not sure if foreign vendors is the right phrase, but there it is. I'm curious about sites like efun.top and fasttech. I like their prices and products ( ef has the same items I want for fast cheaper than my usual site, and fasttech has a plethora of mech and RDA clones for great prices). But I'm half expecting to wait for weeks or months after ordering to receive my package, with a fairly big risk that it never comes, and then a language barrier that prevents me from getting a replacement or refund.

How valid are my concerns?

I've never ordered from efun, but I never had a problem with FT, if you pick the correct shipping method you may have your items in 10 days. Just make sure what you order is in stock...!

As insects says FT are brilliant never had an issue but check items are in stock.. I ordered some squonk bottles but they aren't 're stocking for a couple of months but at the price I'm willing to wait.. also a lot of new mods etc will have the authenticity codes scratched off but this didn't effect warranty from the manufacturer they get them cheaper under pre-release deals.. also make sure you read buyer reviews as some clones aren't good.. all that said though it's my number one place for vape hardware

I've gotten some great deals off eFun.top. They don't have free shipping like FT but their prices can be far better than FT, even with shipping factored in.

There's lots of good vendors in China:

GearBest
Vapesourcing
VaporL
Cigabuy
HealthCabin
HeavensGifts
3FVape
urVapin

I had similar concerns too. I've used FT 3 times for usually things like replacement glass or drip tips. They've always shown up a couple weeks later safe and well packaged. I'm fairly certain bigger orders would go the same. They have people who speak English.

My experience with Efun have been very painful. Those clowns don't respond anywhere after placing the order. They have not shipped the item till now but have provided the PostNL tracking after raising a dispute with PayPal. My personal opinion - avoid Efun. Prices might look attractive but they don't have ethics and you may not get the item at all.
I was saved since I made the payment through PayPal and their buyer protection program is what saving me.

Urvapin seems to be ok. Free shipping worldwide and have premium shipping options as well. Pretty fast response and prices are ok too. Personally I found urvapin 1000 times better than Efun because urvapin respond on email, chat. They even have their number in the website just in case if you want to have a call with them.

I'll chime in on the "make sure stuff is in stock" with FT as well. If something isn't in stock your order can end up in limbo until you ask their support to remove the item. Otherwise I've never had a problem with stuff eventually showing up.

I also have had no issues with HealthCabin.

Just be sure to do lots of comparisons on prices. They vary widely from one to the other. I've bought a lot of stuff from 3fvape and have never once been unsatisfied. FT has always delivered accurately but they always take much longer than 3FV.

Stoopidly im in that scenario.. I’ll wait tho, not in a rush.. but FYI they keep pushing the shipment date out.. originally placed order on February 29.. 7 day’s restock delayed to March 10.. as of this morning it’s pushed out three more days... lol

I’ll see what happen.. not worried I won’t get a refund..

I've gotten things from FT, 3F, eFun, Gearbest, VaporL and HeavenGifts. All of them I've received within 3 weeks. I've never had issues with tracking, until I ordered from VaporL. Wasn't happy with that part, but that was all.

A foreign vendor is only as good as their reputation or there take of giving a shit. I mostly try avoiding them all together, however if I want anything from China I mostly chose gearbest and yes their reputation is horrible, but if you pay for shipping its not that bad. Other vendors I use is 2fdeal, 3f and/or ft. I would stay away from efun. If you look through this and other forums, that vendor should be closed down, even myself did have multiple issues and had to reach out to these forums to let people know. It wasn't till then, that they then answered even tho I put multiple tickets in prior, giving me the most unreasonable bullshit answers, trying to blame me for there horrible service. I spend over $500 with them, yet I got a 6% off coupon at the end, even tho they should have replaced the item in question etc. But I stop ranting because all it does is still making me angry lol.

I'm used to about 3wk for FT, gearbest was almost identical. I've got a test-order into 3fVape and that's already into its 2nd week of "We stopped tracking at HK". I don't expect their "tracking number" to work with USPS, either

It's a crap shoot, shipping-wise vendor to vendor.
Period.
Things bought in bulk for extra cheap, that you have plenty of...are usually fine buying from China.
But if you want the latest mod, or even an older one on clearance, USA sites like 101vape.com, IMO, is the way to go.

Efun should be closed down. it's been a week placing order and they say it's shipped but tracking shows its still in sender's warehouse. Further to this there is no response from last 4 days on this shipping issue though there was a stock of the mode I purchased.

New customers will fall to a trap due to their pricing but should think logically before placing the order.
  • Price + shipping will come close to what FT or urvapin is offering with world wide free shipping.
  • Customer service sucks.
  • Unreliable Seller basis my experience with them.
  • They are active in FB but you will not get response there as well.
  • There chat on website is always offline and no revert to any query there as well.
  • No contact number to contact them directly

Its worth paying $ 5-10 extra with other reliable sellers.

1. Don't order anything that you are in a rush to get. Shipping can be a long time.
2. Don't order stuff that's not in stock. Re-stocking can be a long time ..or also never.
3. If you are the type of person that is gonna be tracking your package - don't bother.
4. Do treat it like a 'surprise' service. You order something....forget it...then 'ooh surprise :D' when it turns up.

Also don't order anything around Chinese New Year time unless you really like to wait extra long time for things and have nothing happen at all for weeks.

I ordered IJOY RDTA BOX MINI 100W Full Kit which was in stock and there are no holidays at this point of time. Ordered after going through their shipping policy which says the shipping happens between 2-48 hours.

After ordering they have booked the package with PostNL which was the only available shipping method immediately next day on 5th of March. But as per tracking the item is still in sender's warehouse!!

They shared the tracking details only after raising a dispute with PayPal since I made the payment through PayPal.

I have waited and waited for response till yesterday and there is no response from them.

Since they are playing with the order and not yet shipped it I have written them asking to cancel the order and do a refund. Let's see what they will do. If they don't respond I will have no choice but to escalate the dispute as claim with PayPal.

I've ordered several times from Fasttech without issue. Usually takes 2-3 weeks to the midwestern u.s. using epacket for me. I've ordered from gearbest once but just some spare tank glass. So far everything I've gotten the orders have been complete, no missing parts, nothing broken or doa. As for FT I've ordered replacement glass, rda's, tanks, mods.

I just got a refund on my order with FastTech.
The item which had an original availability and shipping in 7 day’s kept getting pushed. Recently they came back to inform me they couldn’t get it.. I think that’s pretty shady that they advertise but can’t deliver!

Suggestion - don’t make a purchase on items not in stock (from anywhere) and better just pay the extra money for a more reliable company. I’m sure it’s due to how these businesses operate over in CN tho.

Also check with the vendor before making a purchase if the item is really available. I noticed few times that the product is not available physically but is still available in front end.
And secondly never fall for a price from shady vendors. Or you will end up paying them and they will come out with all the lame responses like our staff are still in spring holidays even in March as if even the mail servers are on spring holidays while they are actively posting in various threads and FB.

It's better paying few bucks extra to a reputed vendor as choderfett suggested.

I order often from Fasttech - vape stuff, electronics, other odds and ends. If everything on your order is in stock, no problem. If any one item is out, best to put it on a separate order or it'll hold up everything else. I've never had to return anything, and everything has arrived in fine shape. For vape stuff, read their description well - be sure it says "authentic" if that's what you're after. FT gets an A from me.

Glad what I had ordered wasnt something I really needed; that's why I didn't mind the wait time. Now that its cancelled I probably wont look to buy it from somewhere else.. wouldve been nice to have tho
