From the Kylin RTA Mini wicking thread.

This is my Kylin RTA , not the Mini. The Mini works great on my AL85.

It’s been a long day.

I’ve never broken glass. Ever. Of course the day after my friend at the shop told me to ditch the chimney and glass because I was complaining about lack of flavor a few weeks ago, this happens.

First world problems. Hopefully no glass shards went into the deck but it shattered into large shards.

The biggest issue was cleaning my mod , G-Priv 2. I thought rubbing alcohol and q-tips but I just went into the basement and fired up the big air compressor and blew most of the juice out of the buttons. I saw a disassembly video and it looked like a dumpster fire. I’ve taken iPhones apart , I can build computers, wire up a house. But NO THANK YOU with that thing. I’d rather buy a new 2 battery mod.

What do you all run for mods? Sorry if this doesn’t belong here. Moderator /OP can move this if necessary.

I did clean the G Priv2 but still want another , under $100 if possible. 2 battery. Doesn’t have to be Smok. Thanks everyone and I’m glad I have this community at my fingertips.

I’m a single 18650 mod guy myself but when I do use a duel battery mod it’s a old school snow wolf or IPV5. I am definitely behind the times but if I was in the market I’d go with the Asmodus minikin or the squid double barrel.

It’d be for my dual coil Kylin RTA. I don’t think a single battery mod would be practical in my case. Thanks I’ll look into those as well.

I like every single one. I'd prefer a lighter one though, if you said yours is heavy. I do love the design though. The WYE looks boss.

I use my hohm tech g2, sadly its not made anymore tho, my second setup is the voopoo drag and I like it a lot. However, I'm debating with myself of getting the minikin v2 because its not like my current mods a box, and it comes in many colors, I want a bit more girly instead of black/silver and gun metal lol.

However im also considering the gtrs vboy, ugly mod but my interest is more in the yhihi sx500 chip it carries. I don't know yet myself, but will throw that in here as suggestion.

Here's one I haven't investigated. I like the looks of it. Nice screen and big. Centered 510. Fire bar. Not too big. Ergonomic. Reasonably priced.

Love my Minikins because they’re both over 1 year old & look perfect, except the black one has a tiny nick on the logo on the battery door. They’re comfortable to hold & I love the battery life on Asmodus products.

The Tesla Wye 200 is half the price of the Minikins, same comfort because of the shape also great battery life. I love that it is so lightweight. Had mine since the last summer.

The Lustro, I only had for a 2 days before I sent it back for an exchange cos the screen arrived scratched. I should have it back by tomorrow or Monday. So I can’t really recommend yet I haven’t spent enough time with it.

Cool. I know nothing about those batteries. 18650s yes, but not those. So they're just uncommon with higher mah?

And I love how these sites NEVER list item weight. Not that I care that much, but if the thing is a paerweight, no thanks.

My vote for durability would be the if it’s going to be your main mod.
1) Minikin’s still supported via firmware upgrade.
As a secondary mod;
2) the Tesla Wye 200 for its lightweight

I don’t have the other two :)

Those other battery sizes are sizes that, some are avail now but the better ones are not available yet. I expect soon. I think just stick with 18650 for now, they not going anywhere and you can get another mod down the road if it looks like you like the other batteries.

If remove Lyra, and GTRS because it's a bit bigger for the bigger batteries it can take...
Leaves Minikin V2 or WYE 200
I've been trying to spend the whole 100 lol, haven't found anything to post yet.

Have you came up with any others?

I like the one you have. It began with a C , I’m watching Insidious 4 and forget lol. I know it was a good price and looked “handsome “ for a mod.

I think Cylon is a great choice. Haven't heard a bad thing about it. Seems everyone that has one loves it.

Man ! That almost looks as good as you without the cig.(and I don't mean your avatar) Yep, variable wattage unless your running a coil that will do SS and want TC or TCR.
I don't know why but I have KM with .21 alien and 30w is good. Maybe I'm a pantywaste...naw, it's the juice hehe.

You run it at 30w to save juice? I might have read that wrong.

So how would I set the VW levels? Like 50 52 54 56 etc. ?

I set the clock on it, but won’t it reset when I remove the batteries? Unless there’s an internal battery which I doubt.

Well, it's at 35w atm. No, the juice in it isn't my usual ratio. I let myself run dry on juice I really like. But I'm usually not over about 45 anywho.
Levels? You mean memory settings? However you like. Maybe it's depending on the coil(s) or tank you have on it. Or like, I usually vape at a lower wattage first thing in the am.
