I know the title of this Forum had "Banned" in it but I'm sure many of us just had enough of their Bullshit.....I left ECF because they are fucking nuts with the rules and Nazi Mods... It wasn't a very comfortable place to post and I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of banning me...Retard1 really had a hard on for me that's if he can get a erection ...I'm guessing not the way he is on a power trip...So did you just leave and if so what was the reason?...This thread isn't just for ECF but any other Vape Board that's fucking nuts...So to all the otherAsshole Boards and Asshole Mods

I left because they have completely incorrect / inaccurate posted in their stickies about VG, the USP monograph, and requirements for using the "USP" logo. Long story short. Rolygate put in a sticky that VG bottles can have the "USP" logo on them, but would not actually be in sync with the USP requirements if the label on the bottle was not explicitly labelled "Glycerin, USP" (with emphasis being that the comma MUST follow the name). If the bottle says "Glycerin USP", or "USP" somewhere on the label and "Glycerin" somewhere else on the label, then according to ECF, the product did not meet the USP monograph. Folks were going nuts trying to find suitable VG in the stores based on the info in the sticky. The funny thing is that the only readily available "good" VG (according to the ECF sticky) is the cheap, generic, chinese, Walmart VG. People were passing up the good quality VG found everywhere to buy the crap based on the ECF sticky.

I happen to work within 10 miles of USP headquarters, and I also happen to have a friend who is a chemist that works for them. I drove there one day, showed my friend the post, and he verified that it was not correct. I posted the correction, and Roly continued to stand by the word of a "pharmacist" in the UK vs. the word of actual scientists working in the actual USP headquarters. He flat out refused to correct the sticky. IMO, the information on ECF encourages people who don't know any better to buy products of dubious quality in lieu of better ones.

I'm not banned, but they probably aren't liking me too much these days if they read the posts over here...

I got banned when I tried to insist that one of the mods--I think it was CW--correct or remove his/her own post that contained grossly inaccurate battery information. Not only would they not correct/remove it, but he/she went so far as to call out those who disagreed with the incorrect posting as being disrespectful and belligerent.

And so it goes...

Not only did I get a sudden and unexplained lifetime ban over night (was there after midnight and checked in the next morning so it happened in the wee hours of the morning, at least my time) but then they proceeded to completely delete all my threads. They suffer from a very common delusion organizations that become too big tend to suffer from. They think THEY are the ones doing you a favor by giving you a place to post comments, instead of YOU doing them a favor by participating in their forum and making it as big as it has gotten. Individual vapers made their forum what it is, and now that they used them to get where they are, they don't care jack about individual vapers anymore. They want to be the ones who control the narrative. They truly believe they are the gatekeepers of the vaping world. It's delusional and that exceptionalist attitude is usually the first symptom of a collapsing empire;

By deleting all your threads they are also deleting other member posts with out the other members being aware that their posts are getting deleted, so its not only the persons who's threads are getting deleted they are pissing on but all those other people as well.

I wasn't banned but I stopped going there after I posted in defense of another member who was being vilified because as Uncle likes to say some asshat who couldn't read took a post out of context. Somehow that caused a mass hallucination by other readers. Well you get the picture. I was then summarily spanked by a mod for that, and when I commented on the spanking I was spanked again and my comments deleted.

I liked ECF when I was just starting vaping and then DIY. I never got anything banned or any kind of warnings that I know of. I found VU while watching a Mod Envy show. I made an account here and forgot about ECF.
I feel far more comfortable asking questions in VU then I ever had over at ECF.

I never joined. I recognized the elites attitude. I did acquire a wealth of knowledge 3 years ago when I started vaping from ECF. This forum is great as our moderators understand open opinion drives conversation.

This is my first and only vape forum but I get it concerning ECF. I was part of a watch collecting forum that became like a day in the colosseum! One wrong sentence and you got attacked.. Lots of ass kissing of the moderators too.
The hole thing imploded one sunny day when a cyberattck wiped out the database.

Yeah, it turned out really wierd! The site literally crashed for good. A member formed a new website under a different name and over the course of six months everyone found each other again and regrouped with the old moderators gone and a fresh open approach. It's a whole new environment now.
I think ECF may need the same revolt.

I got lots of warnings and lots of time outs.....my mistake...I wandered onto the "outside" threads where there were political discussions going on....anyone who didn't share the politcal views of the mods were attacked, and trumped up excuses were leveled in order to silence the political views that differed from those of the fat rosie cheeked sow of a moderator.They were a bunch of facist creeps....all of them ....the mods were total a**holes....
There was a time when ECF had total control on information about vaping,but that time is long gone....there are now so many experinced vapers around,on so many diffrent forums,that ECF is history.You always go on forums and see people you knew from ECF when you were starting out....The other thing maybe that I believe,I'm not sure....is that ECF is or was started by englishmen,and the europeans don't share americas values on freedom of speech and thought.....
I just don't go there very often, as the more experinced vapers have wandered off to other forums........even today I would not recommend ECF to a begining vaper, there are other forums,and I choose not to support ECF in any way.I saw too many good people get beaten up by the sociopaths they have as mods.
As I've traveled around diffrent forums, I've discovered they may all have some diffrent attitudes toward..sex,drugs,polotics ect....but I have never have come across a forum that was as punishing and mean spirited as ECF.

Don't get me started on that shit-hole sophists paradise of a sub forum. I mainly just chit chat in the Nicoticket, DIY and REO forums these days. For some reason I had forgotten about VU until a few days ago but I'm glad I remembered, I really like it here especially after reading some of the bullshit the mods have pulled on people.

I was there for about 20 minutes and I feel like they are already getting my sizes for my uniform and trying to expidite a National Socialist Party card for me....It's too uniform over there and it felt like work looking at everything rather than just chillin around here vaping and posting. Btw typing the word vaping over there automatically hyperlinks it to another over there pages and it doesnt give you the option to say "NO! Thats my post. Bad forum!"
