Smok Mag or Geekvape Blade? Help me choose!

I was really set on buying the Mag but I put it off for so long that I can't find the colours I want anywhere online or in local shops. I found ONE site that sells the colour I want but it's the left handed version (which I don't really mind) and I'm pretty sure it's coming from China so I don't know how long I'll have to wait to actually have it in my hand. Then I saw someone on here post about the Geekvape Blade and I fell in love with it but once again I can't find the colour I like.
Regardless of them being in stock, whenever they are in stock, which one should I get?
I own both Smok products and Geekvape products and I love them both.

I think the blade is cute and different. I'm not happy with GeekVape chips tho in their other mods, but I guess anything is better than smok. So based on looks, grab the blade :)

The colourful one is nice but I was probably just going to get the black one. I'm kind of boring. I like the colourful one too but if I'm going to get something colourful it's going to be the pink mag or the black/rainbow mag. I just feel like the colourful design on the blade doesn't really match the actual mod's design. That's why I would go with black but it's sold out pretty much everywhere. I've never had an issue with Smok and they've always performed great for me. I need unbiased opinions!

Get both and see which you like best.

I might actually do that. I'm trying to save money but if I get them online it'll only come out to like $130 Canadian - more or less. I'll get my dad to buy me one of them. Yay for parents!

Many people on this forum dislike SMOK. It breaks or fails or explodes. I had one SMOK mod the Kooper plus it died in under 3 months which is completely unacceptable imho. IPV makes a more solid mod usually. Even my crappiest one that took a lot of abuse lasted over a year. my 3li gets dropped daily and is at least 3 years old and still works like new. My d2 survived a bath in dishwater and only finally crapped out form 3 years of abuse a few weeks ago. I haven't used any of the newer IPV mods but the older ones show that you can build a solid mod without issues that lasts a long time and survives abuse. SMOK doesn't make things that way from my experience.
Geekvape is still relatively new to the mod market. Their atomizers are great.l They hold up to SOME abuse. so I would expect a geekvape mod to at least be middle of the road in terms of quality.

Do you say that because you tried the Mag and didn't like it or do you just generally dislike Smok?
I don't personally dislike smok, however, they have had a bunch of issues lately and don't seem to do anything about it. Search this forum for smok+problems and you'll see what I mean.

I've definitely noticed a lot of people have issues with Smok but I've personally never had any issues. Me and my husband have had a couple 220 aliens, g150, t-priv, g-priv luxe, v8, and rolo badge and we have literally never had a single issue with any of them over the years. That's why when I'm reading that all these people are having problems with those products I'm shocked because I've never experienced any of their problems. I guess I'm just lucky. But since they've been working great for me I'm still going to get their products because they've never let me down. I think my best bet is to just buy both mods and when I get them I'll write a detailed comparison between the two.
I have the geekvape aegis and it takes a lot of abuse. It's a great mod but not every tank works great with it. On the other hand I've never had any smok mod perform subpar with different tanks. Due to that I'm already leaning towards the Mag but I wish somebody has actually tried both of those mods to tell me which one they prefer.

Never had a problem with my Aliens and you will find many who knock SMOK have never owned one and are just repeating what they read or watched. You know what they say one bad word goes farther and than the good.

That's true. Wise man, wise man. I find some pretty good coupons sometimes but other times they don't work :(

I have a smok alien total garbage lasted 1 month. One of the battery meters would show half charge and at time go up and down. Later the screen was reversed like you were looking into a mirror. Last time I put some batteries in it no screen at all but still fires you just can't tell how many watts. Replaced with a silver voopoo drag. Voopoo is so much better vape than Smok

I have no idea why you felt you needed to quote me but I find most problems can be attributed to user error or abuse.

To all who quote me and knock SMOK, with the personal experience I have had with the ones I actually own I can only surmise it was abuse, misuse or user error. Quote me all you like it just adds to the lists of those who I will always question their skills or knowledge.

I must have got a bad batch along with a few other people I know. I understand the failure ratio with these compared to other mods is high because there are so many out there.
But when Smok won't even respond to my problem after many attempts, They can Kiss my ass!
And Steve, I wasn't trying to antagonize you with the last post.
Wasn't my intention. If I came off that way, Apologies!

Add up the amount of failures to the amount sold and it is such a small percentage why should they actually give 2 shits more than I do?

You know how much bad shit I heard about this MOD? Still my everyday beater and this fucker is like a Timex that takes a licking but keeps on ticking. 4 years later............

My Alien the screen just died while just sitting on shelf for a few months. I had some problems before that but taking battery out then back in would resolve them.

I’ve tried so many different brands and honestly the only brand that has never given me any issues is Smok. Mods are electronics and all electronics can get fucked up. My husband just bought a brand new PS4 and 2 days into it he’s having issues with it. There’s no reason to hate on something just because you had a bad experience.

Oh people LOVE to hate on Smok coils too. "There inconsistent", "Tastes burnt after a day", "garbage", "No quality control". I don't even remember the last time I had an issue, and use a bunch of different ones daily. There's people here that don't even use premade coils, that shit on Smok coils. Most of the complaints are from people that don't know what they're doing.

There is an excellent reason to "hate on" - shit doesn't work, (for you), don't buy them again. If enough people run into troubles, but you buy it - expect to get ridiculed. If you buy it and like it, go for the repeat.

Have fun.

Well a lot of people have had multiple issues with iPhones but they keep going back to it. There’s no reason to trash talk something that you have had issues with. If that was the case then nobody would own anything. I’ve had issues with my tv but I’m not going to stop using Samsung products because of an issue. That doesn’t make any sense.
