Looks like it to me! When you decide you don't like I know a guy that will take it off your hands for you

Well if I do buy it ( most likely will ) and its not for me...I'll make sure to send it to that guy... Think he also lives in NY (where this is located btw)

Well I paid for it... should be here in the next few days from NY...

I asked a few more questions and he showed me his purchase receipt from BBV and the communication he had with them when he was originally sent the wrong button.

Woot I guess ;)

maybe you all can help me... Real or Clone?

https://imgur.com/a/tizRnxq

Thanks!
Legit, you can tell by the cnc marks on pic 5, as well as the authenticity sticker; not that the sticker proves anything but the clones don't have the cutout for the sticker.

Insider packaging is same as the one I have.

PS: The biggest difference between the clone and genuine BB is 1) the boro tank on the clone is not 1:1, so the TweaKings plug will not fit and 2) the top threading on the clones will not accept screw in drip tips for the authentics.

There are other small differences but its just build material and cosmetic, so everything else (interior panels, buttons, plates, etc..) will fit just fine.

the Dryplugs stick under the tank and try to eliminate condensation, (if not leaks) from the atomizer that then sticks to and runs down the panels, the pcb-section, etc

@So619Cal if you don't like it and @jmoney426 changes his mind, I'll be second in line:vino:
@troydestroy , I see the DryPlugs but please help the uninitiated, what are they, what do they do? Thanks:cheers:

They go under the Boro to help aid with condensation over the screen and depending on the type, help reduce af or have a built in AFC... Primarily they channel the AF only to the 3 AF slots .

About the DryPlug...

The theory is: because the material is porus it will soak up any condensation rather than it pooling inside the mod. It will need to be cleaned and dried periodically once soaked with condensation using alcohol.
Thanks, that makes sense. So, you soak yourself with alcohol and let the sucker dry..... Works for me:vino:
Just kidding, once I get my toys together, you'll hear from me.

Are they printed from PLA, ABS, Nylon or something else?

The current run was printed from XSF nylon using SLS. PLA or ABS are not porous and would not function as intended.
Ok. Thanks for the reply. I am not really familiar with all the options for materials, nor their different properties other than how they feel in the hand.

Please PM info on how to pay you for a few of these when you are ready.

Will do. Have to run through preorders first then I'll offer them here :)

What color is your new BB? Kinda hard to tell from that pic, at least for me it is.

Oh I wanted to gift these to you but I'm not sure they'll match very well? Bought them custom awhile ago but they put the authentic fittings on the dt and my wife's BB is a clone so they've never been used. Think I paid 50-60$ for the set. I also have a white juma set but that dt is 510.

I appreciate that!

But yeah I wont be doing much to the BB in way of customizing...Maybe a flush Drip Tip similar to the Dee Mods DDP one, Escribe and maybe a different RBA if I don't like the Insider.

That is sexy though for sure.

Please let us know how the E-Scribe deal works! If it is not a ball buster, I might get an authentic and appeal to your help.

I'll see how the stock profiles if any work... I have my DNA200 set and I can gauge how closely the Vape is at 425f using simple SS coils.

If I find I need to really bump both power and temp to get a similar Vape I'll go ahead and get the charging board and upload my profiles.

There is no stock SS profile on the authentic Billet Box

There's really nothing to escribeing the authentic or the clone. It's simple, my only concern is the removal of the button plate and potentially damaging the seal for resale value.

That is my concern as well, the reason I wrote BB and in reply I got a link to the DNA 60 specs sheet:confused:

I'll take a close look at the holographic sticker thing...I don't see that being an issue to lift up with a lil hair dryer action and xacto knife.

I don't know... I'm kinda digging that Nugget. I'll hold out for a RPG for now though.
