Hey
Have a odd question.. I got couple RTAs couple weeks ago one of them is Pharaoh Mini whenever I use this tank I get skin rash on my hand and arms.. When I stop using it rash goes away.. I tried like 10 different tanks I got.. Nothing happens but whenever I use Pharaoh I get this odd rashes.. I have washed it throughly like 3 times.. Still same.. ( I used same juice in all tanks so it isn't juice and I use same wire for coils)

Any ideas?

Thanks

You mean a rAsh? If you washed the tank and are using the same juice/wire/cotton as the other tanks I can't see how the tank could cause it. I have never had a rash from vaping in 3 yrs. I did have a rash earlier this year but it was after trying kratom. Are you sure there isn't something else you are doing/ingesting that could be causing it? A new medicine, deodorant, soap, cologne, etc or perhaps something you changed in your diet?

Not to sound like a smart ass, but I'd stop using the tank?? lol js.. sounds like you're having some sort of reaction from whatever it's made of?

I have a driptip which purports to be stainless steel. But everytime I've used it, i get a cold sore on my upper lip right where the driptip touches my mouth. My other driptips that are stainless, don't do that. I suspect some shenanigans with the "stainless steel"... could be a high content of nickel, which always turns my skin black, in costume jewelry.

Just 'cuz something sez it's this or that kind of metal... if it's from China, I'd take that with a boulder or two of salt. ;)

With it being on your arms and hand it sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to something. It would be reasonable to assume it would be on your lips or face where you have the most exposed contact to your body and the atomizer, if you were somehow allergic to a component of the hardware.

Could you have some sort of hex, infectious disease, filthy mouth of your friends or so on that could be on the surface of the Pharaoh that you could be touching and then rubbing on your arm? One could also assume if this is true you would see it everywhere you touch yourself.

Don't think anyone is allergic to stainless steel, Couldn't find anything up or down on Ultem allergies, there are some silicone allergies but they are very rare. Suppose the glass could contain something that might sicken you. Have you disinfected the thing, done a degrease? Its somewhat possible there might be some type of finish preservative or clear coat, although't it doesn't make sense since the thing is SS. Definitely weird.

I think I read somewhere that nickel is the most allergenic metal to most humans, or at least a great many more than any other metal. Unfortunately, it's used a lot in various alloys -- cheap costume jewelry rings are a huge culprit! But it's why I've never tried any type of nickel or nickel alloy wire; I already know it turns my skin black, so why push it. Kanthal is great.

Interestingly it was drip tip causing the rash. I have been using the tank since yesterday with different drip tip so far no rash. Thanks for the help

What is the drip tip? It would be good to know in case anyone else runs into this odd thing.

That is Crazy, I wonder what's in the drip tip that does that?

Score one for Cromwell, btw
