SMOK TFV12 prince, what type of metal are the coils?

Hey, so I've been using the Prince tank for awhile now and it is by far one of the best tanks I have used. However I like many other's hate how this thing devours my juice!!

I'm still a fairly new vaper, and I'm playing around with temperature control for the first time. I wanted to try using TC on my Prince tank because I've heard many times it can help with juice and battery consumption to an extent. But after scouring the internet for hours I can't seem to get a straight answer on what metal they use in the coils! My best guess is stainless steel but I've seen people say a few different kinds of metal. Does anyone know for certain?

They're not equipped to perform in TC mode. The coils are made of kanthal. I agree, it's one of the better tanks I've used too. They make a baby Prince that uses smaller coils. The bigger the coil, the more juice it uses usually.

No stainless steel coils are available for ANY Smok tanks.

I've never understood why but since SS tastes so much better, I don't buy Smok tanks.

I agree 100%.. I've been a long time fan the cloud Beast line of Tanks and I like the Prince best of all so far... I like the Locking cap button and check out that Cobra drip tip!IMG_20180605_141703758.jpeg

Ive been having huge issues with the v12 prince m4 coils in this tank. Im now uisng it on my gpriv2 because it made no sense to have it on the stick prince. They burn very quickly and taste like crap no matter what i do.

I think the M4s work wonderful on my Stick Prince. But I mix my own juice without a ton of sweetener. They last over a month of solid use. I love to use subohm tanks. The best thing I've ever done to make the coils last longer is mix my own liquid. I've never poked a hole in a coil ever for wicking. Rarely do I ever get a bad coil out of an authentic Smok pack. What I mean is they don't burn out quickly for me 95% of the time.

Thank you for the quick response. That is a thought ive had that maybe these juices im using are too thin for such a big coil. What kind of mixture do you use? Higher VG i would imagine?
