What's the chocolate percentage? Maybe you could lessen it a bit. A trick I like to use for these types of instances is to add a bit of FA coconut - but only around 0.25-0.50%. You can't really taste it, but it does help to round out other flavors in the mix.
Yep, coconut in low percentages seems to "smooth" things out.

My first shot at unicorn stuff. I’ve had naked unicorn and cuttwood unicorn, trying to get something similar. Tastes close, but it’s not steeped. Hmmm

Chocolate is @ 1% and in this change, the chocolate was broken down into two parts the regular which is stronger and another lighter sweeter one. This version bumped it up from .80 as it was more in the background last time and being overwhelmed by the coconut custard in the mix which has not yet adjusted in either direction. Its going to spend some time steeping so the other flavors can develop and will circle back around to it. This one is going to be very good when it gets right.

Anyone have an idea of how to smooth out a chocolate custard without subduing the chocolate or the custard? I am working on something and am very near having it dialed in and just need to kind of push the chocolate slightly into the background without killing the flavor.

I intend to share this here in the next week or so after it steeps and is verified to be ready to share.

If Chef's suggestion doesn't do it for you, my first thought is to add a very small amount of TFA Dairy Milk, maybe 0.75-1%.

ETA: If your chocolate is at that small a percentage, then the milk percentage I suggested is too high, but I still think the suggestion is valid at a lower amount.

I will give it four or five days and then try this if it doesnt act right. It would actually fit into the mix of this.

Had one of my gf’s co-workers come up to me saying her sister gave her “a Vape” but it tasted burnt with a new coil in it..it turns out it was just a bad blend of a coffee flavor and amoretto, so, I asked what fruits she likes and she said Strawberry and Peach.
I’ve got TFA-Ripe Strawberry, CAP-Sweet Strawberry, TFA-Juicy Peach and FA-White Peach and was just curious if anyone knew a good combo percentages using any or all of those flavors to pop in a 10ml tester to have her try out.
I haven’t had anyone ask to try any juice I made and would really rather not fall flat on my face by giving someone a flavor that tastes like ass right off the bat and kill my confidence, if anyone has any suggestions, it’d be greatly appreciated.
I couldn’t identify her rig or tank and didn’t really ask, but noticed it was setup to be used DTL at around 36.5w and I’m just going to assume it was a store bought juice which would mean something in the neighborhood of a 70/30 vg/pg blend with around a 6 on nic level.
Any ideas on something I could make for her that won’t taste like shit using any or all of those flavors and percentages? Thanks in advance!

Do you have any creams or whipped creams?

Dude, make a peaches and cream and then start sprinkling in some sweet strawberry until it feels right. Vanilla custard would also work to bring those two flavors together.

I might try that, but I haven’t the funds to put in my order at BCF for my custards/cakes flavors yet, so, the only custard I have is the one I picked up from a sale from One Drop Flavors and I’ve yet to try it out

Don't over think it. Just because she likes those 2 flavors doesn't mean she likes them mixed together. I like spicy chili, and I also like eclairs. It doesn't mean I like them mixed together.

Going to take this advice too and just make a 10ml bottle of only Juicy Peach and a separate 10ml bottle of Sweet Strawberry and give her those two along with the Peachberry & Cream just so she has some options in case the more complicated recipe ends up taking a high dive into the shallow end.

And of course now I have this image of biting into a chocolate frosted eclair and having spicy chili gushing out as the filling. Probably doesn’t say much for me that rather than being grossed out, now I’m a bit intrigued...

Maybe something along these lines will work. Had to use a couple substitutes from a couple recipes, but take this and maybe put a few drop of the One Drop Flavor Custard and see what kind of animal comes out of that mix....

This looks pretty good! I personally would take the FA peach down a notch, but that’s just me. I might just mix this up for the beach this weekend.

Of course it's your decision but (ODF) custard is not that. It barely has vanilla in it, it's a very thin watery flavor with brown sugar. more of a flan or top layer of creme brulee really, not the good kind tho lol. You would need a high percentage to make that work and due to its added "sweetness" content this will fade and mute rather quickly. Unless you just making 30ml for her, she can vape within 2-3 weeks, I would highly recommend finding a other/better solution.

Yes, a friend left a bottle over here and it made me very happy and it made me like pecan vapes and be more open minded toward them.

The waffle is sweet and present, The vanilla ice cream is creamy, dense and very sweet and the pecan definitely resides in butter and sits right into the caramel. All syrups right now taste the same to me right now but a less sweet maple would be perfect.

This is a sweet, rich, very dense and awesome vape.

Taking out the Chef's Caramel, mixed it again with Caramel (Original) TFA. The Chef's is not very strong and just gets lost. This might actually be pretty good.

I managed to mix a few testers.

TFA- Pistachio
FW- Pralines and Cream
FW- Toffee Dream Cream
FW- Waffle Cone
VT- Chocolate Milk
VT- Milkshake Base
FA- Cantaloupe
FLV- Honey Milk
CAP- Apricot
INW- Creme Brulee
INW- Lemon Cake

The Lemon Cake smells really good. It reminds me of lemon cookies. The sandwich kind (oreo style) with lemon frost in the middle. I'll check it out tommorow.

Gotta love that Bullcity service speed. I used the Fathers code Sunday evening. My box was waiting for me today after work.
They are insanely fast indeed. I order weekly from them it seems. I try and plan shit but every damn time I find something else I'm missing...

In a bit of a quandary here...my latest newbie says all the juice I started her out with is too sweet. She wants something with menthol (not a problem), but nothing sweet. I hardly ever use sweetener and none of what I gave her contains sweetener. Evidently the sweetness of the flavorings themselves is too much for her. So what to do? Drop a bit of menthol and nicotine in VG and call it a juice? Never had this complaint before. o_O

If the newbie is looking for a good tobacco menthol, I recommend this. Its my wife's daily driver and she loves it.

You can drop the marshmallow and the Sweet Tobacco can be subbed for RY4. The butterscotch is just a binder to take the edge off the tobacco and mellow it out a little. It is not really present at all and gets subdued by the tobacco.

Maybe some vanilla butternut? Its not sweet in low/mid doses and is pretty good by itself. If that person is particularly picky toss a few drops of vape wizard on it.

I'm gonna play around with a couple things today, I had definitely thought of cutting the flavoring in half and calling it "decaf" (har har :teehee:), but in over 3 and a half years of mixing, this is the first complaint of this sort I've addressed.

I mixed a strawberry Banana Custard about a week ago that turned out really well but today it hit its steep peak & DAMN it's good! This is my current favorite vape right now.

This reminds me I have a RF SC adaptation of Strawnana Custard in the steep cabinet that should be in the rotation soon. I haven't vaped a strawberry or banana mix in quite some time, should be a nice change of pace.

I have a Peppermint Bark juice that might work, possibly with FA Chocolate in place of TFA Double Chocolate, and minus sweetener. Basically peppermint plus white and regular chocolates.

You might try adding a touch of black tea. I've read at a low percentage it cuts sweeter flavors without intruding on the overall juice flavor.
