I always have yellow cake on hand, that fixes many disasters lol.
Another for me is passionfruit. It is the wetness to peach, the sweetness to citrus, yet, also the tart to sickly sweet fruits like some strawberries and grape are too candy sweet for me. It also has this nice smooth mouth feel. Try it at low % with banana. I don't have brand name passionfruit, I think I have a huge bottle from HC.
I would like to hear other personal fixes. Be a good thread I thought.

Caps Sweet Cream. Unless it’s a solely citrus mix....it can smooth out most things. I have a huge bottle of it because I use it so much.

For me to save a mix can be adding double the VG/PG/Nicotine to any flavor depending on what I am making. Or how I fucked up. Adding different flavors to create something new is also another twist.

Not a single flavor, but Cromwell's Custard will fix most anything, mixed about half and half.

For any recipe that does not work for me, I simply add TFA Ripe Banana. It will overpower anything @ just 1% in my experience. ;)

I use either flavor art caramel or cotton candy to salvage my disaster mixes.

A lot of different ideas. How would you best "unsweeten" bakery flavors? I'm always stuffing them juices up. I don't use sweetener, but mine always come out too sickly. I'm thinking a plain cream like cream fresh?

Hey, did you ever get the golden syrup to try? I was thinking about that the other day, and wondered if you have tried it yet.

I did! I really like it. I can def see it on pancakes and anything like that. Alternative for honey in baking.

Marshmallow or whipped vanilla marshmallow is one if it just gets muddled and dull, Vanilla otherwise. That goes with pretty much everything that I vape and it also happens to be my favorite flavor.

Post a recipe that you think is over sweet. Sometimes it’s just percentages or flavor combinations or the flavors themselves(FW is notorious for adding sweetener). I bet we can help.

Ha ha I bet you will laugh, I make complicated recipes a lot of the time. Thats probably my problem right there. Too many ingredients. Ok, here's one that I have almost perfected to not be too sweet, but look at my list of ingredients lol.
CARROT CAKE
Nonas cake 2%. FA
Yellow cake. 2%. FW
Carrot. 2%. (This needs to be upped). VT
Biscuit . 1% . Inw
Brown sugar. 1% . Tfa
Butter . 1%. Caps
Bakery spice . 0.5 % . VT
Pecan. 0.5%
AP (nuts) . 0.5%
Coconut. 1%. FA
Yogurt. 0.5%
Whip cream . 0.5% . FA
Vienna cream . 1% . FA
Cream cheese . 1% .LA
Cinnamon. 0.5%
Cactus. 0.5%
Lemon Sicily . 1%
Joy. 1%

This is not too sweet, but so many ingredients lol. I did take out meringue and marshmallow.
ETA I could probably get rid of the yellow cake, but I felt it lacked body.

That looks like one of my recipes! I can't seem to mix juice without putting 16 flavors in it.

Woooooooow. That’s an amazing amount of flavors! So I’m thinking that you’re going at this like an actual recipe for carrot cake. Which can work sometimes, but usually doesn’t. Like yellow cake....in the theory you’re going on, cake already has butter, flour, vanilla, eggs, sugar....you get the idea. Biscuit has butter, sugar, flour, sometimes brown sugar, etc.....so maybe you’re doubling and tripling up on flavors. Do you need bakery spice and cinnamon? Probably not. All the creams and yogurt? Probably not. Brown sugar can probably go, too. But you may really like it this way! Who am I to judge! I’ll bet you can whittle away at a few of those and come to the same, if not better, conclusion.

Raisins are sweet. That’s what you’re looking for. Imma gonna call on @HeadInClouds for this one. And maybe @wllmc. Raisins are not my forte at all. I was force fed raisins as a child and now I cannot stand them(unless they’re puréed up in a cake or something).

Oh, I know it lol. Carrot cake is complicated. I'm having trouble getting the denseness right, as I am after a dense, moist base.
I have gone way over the top with the filling and the frosting on top. Cream cheese by LA alone isn't quite there, it needed more tang I felt, thus the yogurt and lemon. Then I wanted a vanilla frosting, but I was trying to create a creamy vanilla over a fatty sweet vanilla.
See how my head works lol.

Raisins to me are a chewy burst of moist yet a definite flavour, like raisin?? In Australia, we have a thing called raisins that's different to the rest of the world. These are larger, and have a unique taste. What you call raisins, we call sultanas. Similar, but perhaps not as sweet maybe. Maybe I should try plum. Yes, definitely could use some advice lol

TFA's attempt at raisin is horrible. Ecigexpress once sold a Chinese tobacco flavor that worked well for raisin flavoring, but that was many years ago. If there are enough other flavors going on & you just need a hint, FA Fig can sometimes give the right impression.

@LeanPipe - you need Nature's Flavors Carrot Cake! It would sure simplify your project.
